Many reasons. It's very well put together and the story is very interesting. Thecharacters are also very creative, and there is a lot of humor. xd

I agree with RoxyChick2003 and also because Inuyasha dose not always win so it gives the show sespence.

Its different. Theres nothing else like it. And yeah Inuyasha doesn't always win so it makes it less predictable. Plus there are more then one elements to it. Romance, hatred, comedy, lust, fighting , etc.

The reason is b/c Inuyasha is just the best show cause the characters are amazing and the scripts and episodes are well thought out. It's also great for the imagination!!!!!!!! I hope that it never dies down on the air!!!! heart

In Japan they have so many eps that us on the other side of the world have the same eps...but not in japness

I do not think its the best anime in the world. Its just one of my most favorite ones. Inuyasha is one of the first anime's I have ever seen and I actually mocked people for watching the show for about a year. Until I finally sat through a episode and did'nt mind it that much. So I watched another and another, and then I became to like the show. I have to say when I went over the series a thrid time you can easily see how much the story has coming Rumiko's drawing has gotten so much better further along in the episode's and the 4th movie was just amazing, probally some of her best work. I can see why people hate it because the first couple of seasons were kinda repetive but thats were they stopped. They didnt even bother to look more into the anime, and I hate people like that, because the story has gotten much better.

Your right, its very popular in Canada its ranked one of the top 15 animes right now. I am still quite shocked of how many fans its picked up being on air.

because when you compare inuyasha to other anime, inuyasha is still verrrry good. The anime now sucks bad, which makes inuyasha looks good. like a Big sheet of pure white paper with a black dot in the middle.
