It was all over the news...well, online anyway. Very tragic. cry I didn't want to believe it either.
I mean, it's the Cap! You know Red Skull is going to have all of the Avengers at their doorstep (past, new, anyone that has ever been an Avenger).

"In Civil War: The Initiative, Ms. Marvel tells Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) that Captain America is not dead but '...tucked away safe on the Raft...' with doctors working to save him"
SO THERE IS STILL HOPE!!!!!!!!!! We're rooting for you Cap.

1941-2007 was the life of a man that made a difference in this world. He was well respected, thoughtful, and a great leader for many other heros. Huh, the word hero is not something that can be thrown around. Captain America, also known as Steve Rogers, was the icon of a hero. He continued doing what was right for the world until his dying breath. Now, we can only hope that other heros learn from him and use his life as a model to follow.
Captain America, you will be not be missed; you will forever be cherished!! crying
I hope that "The Fallen Son" holds true value of the importance of Captain America in other people's lives.
If you do not know what I am talking about, "The Fallen Son" is an issues involving the death of Captain America and how other super heros deal with it. There will be five issues to this, each one dealing with the different stages of mourning. As of now, only the first two issues have been revealled. The first one will be Wolverine in the stage of denial. The second one will be the Avengers in the stage of anger.
Captain America. Man. Leader. Hero. Friend.

It's to bad that they felt the need to kill him off. Out of all the super heros why Captain America? I didn't want to believe it when I saw it on the internet but now it's official. I can't even think of the Avengers with out picturing Captain America!!!

He is the icon of heros. Things will be different without him. My fiance came up with a theory though. Technically, Cap still exists in the pocket world Franklin Richards created to save heros from Onslaught. He is still there and, my fiance thought it would be cool if he came back to the real world with Franklin Richards.
We can always look at the good of things.
