Ieldi Journals
.Introduction.
First and foremost, welcome to Kyendi. For any questions regarding maintenance of your journal, how to get a journal, or modification of said journal, please read on. If there is something not present in this thread that you feel ought to be addressed, please, by all means, post here and inform us and we will add it in immediately.
Though you are not required to, you may post here whenever your diary has been updated to alert others of the fact there is new content to read.
.Obtaining A Journal.
At this time, Journals are only available to Ieldi keepers for logging progress with their shelf and their adopted ieldi. Non-owners will not be allowed to keep a diary here so please do not request one.
If you obtain an ieldi relic/child, most likely, the journal will be given to you without your having to ask for it. But in case it isn't, feel free to post here with your name, your Ieldi's name (if you've named it), and what you'd like your journal to be called.
Please, likewise, specify whether you'd like your journal here, or whether you would like it placed in the breedables RP forum instead.
.Journal Modification.
At any time, you may request that the title of your journal be changed to your liking (ie -- instead of "Kujaku's Shelf", your diary thread can read "Memories Of Faceted Feathers".) The only requirement is that the [JRNL] tag remains in place at all times.
To change your journal's title, you need only to reply to this thread with your request and the first available crew member will assist you.
Likewise, if you would like the official post (staff post) of your diary altered somehow to fit the theme of the rest of your diary (to include one of your own banners at the top, for example), please post the URL to said banner and what you would like done in this thread.
WHEN REQUESTING MODIFICATIONS OF ANY SORT, PLEASE BE SURE TO SPECIFY WHICH JOURNAL THEY ARE FOR. It makes things much easier.
.Journal Restrictions.
Much like RP restrictions, the Kyendi journals are mainly open to your interpretation. If you are within Gaia's TOS, you are within ours. Some basic guidelines would ordinarily go without saying, but just in case:
Failure to comply with these rules may result in a staff member deleting the offensive content from your journal without warning. Most likely, we will contact you and attempt to compromise, however.
Further failure to comply may result in your diary being locked and a temporary ban being enstated. Failure to comply beyond that and....please don't let it come to that. We've not had to kick anyone out yet, we'd not like to start.
.RP Compilation From Other Threads.
You are welcome to RP your Ieldi privately, in one of the guild threads, or in the main public Kyendi thread itself to your heart's content. You are not required, by any means, to log these RPs for your journal, but some of you may choose to for your own records and that is perfectly welcome. Yes, compiled RP's count for a journal entry.

3. If you'd like to do something drastic or non-canon (ie -- have your ieldi do something overly-harmful to itself, send your ieldi on a journey into another dimension, etc) please run it by one of the staffers first.
4. Please fade out at the proper moments during any romance scenes (just like in the PG-13 movies. We assure you most of us know the details, we don't need a play-by-play)
