These are the ones closest to Kujaku, or I like to think so anyway.
Youkochylde
A rather laid back and fun-loving kitsune who has a tendency to be mistaken for female a LOT. So far, the two seem to be a perfect match for each other, since Youko understands Kujaku's vain streak.
Fir'Ethal
Fir'Ethal is a Loom Oculai, and loves to weave beautiful things... from his webwork to his stories, he is a wonderful companion to Kujaku and keeps the young Ieldi out of TOO much trouble.
Chronos
One of the Kyunru Pantheon, Chronos came to Gaia along with his brethren to try and solve the issue of eggs being stolen. Now he has decided to stay and remains with Youko as his consort. The deity of Time, Chronos mentors young Kyunru as best he can with his wisdom and abilities. Ever since hearing about the resurgence of the Ieldi, he has been taking great pains to watch over them as well.

~*The Shelf*~
The shelf claimed for Kujaku is at the very top of the village tree. It is a quiet, out of the way spot with the best view.
At each corner of the rectangular shelf is a small, kanji-embossed windchime with an elemental marker upon it. In the east is water, in the south is fire, in the west is air and in the north is earth. Youko took great care in placing them properly, wanting to protect the Ieldi's summoning as much as he could.
   
In the corners facing away from the main bulk of the tree, two caged butterflies rest, one in each corner so that the center of the shelf is kept free for the stump that will be the Ieldi's first 'abode'. In one corner is a small bamboo stand with a model of a panda at the base. Across the platform is a cage twined with grapevines. Beside each is an elixer designed to keep the butterflies well and happy.
   
Near the steps to the platform sits a small dark vial of potion that seems to gleam with the brilliance of the stars themselves. Beside it is another bottle, this one with a strange tiny creature inside that bounces around playfully. They are meant to entice the new Ieldi, as something for him to watch and be curious about.
 
For now, this is all that decorates the small shelf, save for the leather-bound diary, pen and inkpot that rests near a small beanbag cushion that Youko has taken to curling up in.

~*The Gift Shelf*~
This is where I'll be putting the gifts that arrive for my Ieldi! They're all so special, I thought they deserved their own shelf, so built a little one against a branch that acts as a 'wall' sort of.

~*Milestones*~
05.05.04 - I won the chance to raise an Ieldi spirit!
05.08.04 - Rasu delivered a note to me, and I chose the shelf for my relic to be placed on when it arrives.
05.10.04 - The relic arrives, and Rasu nearly kills herself delivering it. eek
05.15.04 - A spirit has started hanging around the relic!
05.19.04 - A love of music and dance is discovered, and I find out that the spirit thrives on attention and compliments.
07.01.04 - A strange mist has surrounded the tree. For our own safety, we're being asked to leave and stay on the ground until it clears.
07.02.04 - Chronos shows me the relic in the tree above. Kujaku has moved in! I hope I can get back up there to him soon!
07.29.04 - Kujaku sleeps now... I hope he's alright. *Fret*
08.04.04 - Kujaku was reborn today!
08.06.04 - Kujaku's first bath. >_< Hoo boy...
08.30.04 - First attempt at flying.

This is a Journal for Kujaku, an Ieldi, which is a pet who's artwork, as well as the rest of the artwork and ideas for the Ieldi are copywrite to La Karasu~. His concept and personality were created by me, and this journal is the story of his rebirth and life.
