Hey everyone! I'm new here - actually saw a link for this guild in an art contest thread yesterday, I believe, and it's my kind of place since I love art, love making it, love collecting it, etc. My name's Aliena and I've been an active member of Gaia for several years now. I usually hang out in the AD, RnC, GCD, and Contests forums. I'm a stay-at-home mom and freelance artist, mainly doing digital painting, though I'm trying to pick up watercolors and colored pencils and get back into graphite a little too. Vectors look fun as well. I also love singing, composing, playing piano, and reading.
I've been collecting art of my OCs for the past few years here on Gaia, in exchange groups, and through commissions and stuff. I just sent out a large trade the other day for a commission, so now I'm having to put my commissioning habits on hold a little bit here while I try to wrangle up some new funds again because presently, most of all I have, I'm planning on pouring into an art contest. But hopefully my commissioning hiatus will be short lived. My friend and I are going to be doing our annual joint auction in a few months and then I think I may open up commissions out of my journal or something rather than doing a formal shop.
