The blue modifox watched his rippling reflection in the stream water as it rushed past, tilting his head to the side. He had found himself bored, but with no one around to play with. He was still new here, and hadn't met anyone yet to have as a playmate. He pressed one paw down into the water, disturbing the image that was dancing there. He settled himself back for a moment, lowering his head down as he shook his hind end in preparation. He pounced into the stream then, feeling the water trickle along his legs as he pounced after reflections of light in the water.

Loki walked along the edge of a stream, admiring the dense foliage nearby that protected him from the sun. Suddenly, he heard a splash nearby. Sitting at the edge of the bank, he peered into the water curiously at another fox.

Masao was stalking his latest reflection of light when he noticed something else seeming to stare up at him from the water. He lifted his head up to see who was casting the reflection, finding a darker colored fox looking down at him. He sat himself down in the stream, suddenly conscious of the fact that he was rather wet from his tromping around in the water.
"Hello..." Masao said in greeting to the other fox, flicking an ear to get some water off of it. "I'm Masao, who are you?"

Loki tilted his head and griined. "It's nice to meet you, Masao." He jumped into the water, sitting down near Masao. "I'm Loki."

Masao smiled back, his front feet prancing slightly in the water. "It's nice to meet you too," he said, standing to give himself a shake, doing his best not to get Loki with the water in the process. No need to scare off a new possible friend so quickly. "I haven't met too many other foxes yet, so I was just playing in the water. Would you like to play?" He sat back down on his haunches again, looking at Loki expectantly.

Loki laughed delightedly. "Sure!" He looked around. "What would you like to do?" Loki was ecstatic; he loved meeting new people and playing.

Kage and Hikari wandered though a grassy patch, looking for thier parents, or rather looking to avoid them. Hikari sighed. This had all been Kage's idea and he didn't want her to get lost or hurt, making him often feel like the older brother, even though they were twins. Kage looked behind her often, though knowing that Kure and Panda-chan weren't really the type to exactally "give a crap", she still wasn't sure on how they would react to thier two kits gone.

Loki sensed two other kits nearby. Vaguely, he wondered who they were.

Masao looked around a little at the question, wondering what they could play. "There's always tag, or hide and seek. Or; we could just play in the water," he said happily to Loki. His ears shifted a little when he thought he heard movement in the grass, but he wasn't positive that it wasn't just a breeze blowing through it or actually movement.

Hikari noticed a thirst in the back of his throat and seemed to sense that Kage felt the same sensation, although she was too stubborn to even admit that. He raised his nose to the air and caught the faint scent of water close by. He could also hear a faint trickling , so he knew it was a moving body of water. He scampered off in that general direction and Kage followed.
Kage followed her brother, knowing he was leading them to water and glad he was the one to do it first. She had been pacing behind him, but then came alongside him, and passed him. She felt she always had to be the leader. Her mind went off on a tangent of how maybe they would start a gang or something, and how she could be the leader, but she knew in the back of her mind that she would have to settle for being one of the heirs of the tribe her fathers were making. As she thought to herself, she tumbled head-over-heels into the stream and was soaked. She heard Hikari stifel a laugh and looked around to see if anyone, other than her twin had witnessed it. Alittle down the ways there were two male kits, one primarialy blue, and the other black and teal. She sighed and stepped out of the water as she shook herself off and threw Hikari a look as though it was all his fault. He sighed and rolled his eyes, and pushed her back into the water.

Loki smiled. "Hide and seek works, and so does playing in the water. You choose." He wouldn't be picky, not wanting to make his new friend go away. Loki noticed hteo ther two and smiled. From the way they were acting, they were certianly related.

Masao was about to answer when there was a splash down the stream. He looked down to see another young fox having just fallen into the water, and his front feet pranced excitedly. "Hide and seek sounds good. Maybe they'll want to play as well," he said, noting that there was a second newcomer still on shore.

Loki grinned and nodded. "Hide and seek it is, then." He looked at the other two and said, "You wanna ask or should I?"

"We both could," Masao said, standing up and turning in a circle before looking back down the stream at the other two. "Come on, let's go ask. It will be even more fun with four of us, more people to have to find." He was excited at the prospect of being able to meet even more potential friends. He loved meeting more and more kits that he could have as friends and playmates.

Loki spanked the ground, laughing in delight. "Let's go then!" He started to walk, waiting for Masao to catch up.
