-Red eyes surveyed the surroundings as ivory paws carried the wild dog swiftly through the savvanah grasses. And though his movement seemed quick and deliberate, in truth it was not. Nothing more then the simple motion of one in need of movement. He was not hungry enough to hunt, nor running from some dangerous beast, or moving along to a new place.
He was simply moving to feel the soft motion of blood through his legs, and the baking warmth of the sun on his back. Silent, except the swishing and shuffling of grasses, he traveled on, eyes scanning for something of interest in hopes of lengthing his afternoon run.-

Dafina lay there his paw being licked tenderly as he swivled his ears to try to keep alert. Stupid me... have to go running around like a maniac on that hunt... just for a pack... He picked his head up for a breif moment. His bi colored ears picked up movement. but where..
He shook it off as a bit of pain rain though his paw. Letting out a small moan he stood and tried to get some blood moving back though his leg. The worst of the damage that he'd recived from Jamaa was gone, now it was the itch of the healing and the scarring.

((Ohhhh, he's so lovely! biggrin ))
-Black wasn't a hard color to pick out in the african savannah, so as the other male rose, Gaerwn's eyes settled upon him quickly enough, and he slowed his movement just a little.
Wasn't particularly smart to just walk up on a lone male out in these lands. But curiousity was overtaking the male, and he drew a little closer, instead of straying away. He didn't attempt to hide himself, nor was his stance anything near aggresive. He simply padded along slowly, going so far as to offer a mild, "Hello"-

((He's more lovely in his previous stage. )) As this other male started to approach Dafina he noticed firstly his red ears. "mmm" Dafina thought and licked hiw maw as if he'd been enjoying a rather delicious snack. He thought back to when he first met Haveo and Haiji and how he needed to be sure to react differntly then he had. "Do you mind?" There was a hatred and sting to his voice as he spoke. The minute his closed his mouth he knew he didn't do it any differntly... But something inside him didn't care.

((Ohhh, you're right! His markings look really nice on that pose. Gaewrn was a halloween eventy prize. So he already came as an adult. :3))
-See. Good thing he hadn't been too pushy. Obviously this male was either aggressive, or simply in a nasty mood. Either way, if the male didn't want his company, then he certainly wouldn't force it on him. Gaewrn of all people knew the joys of solitary travel, and how unpleasant it could become when some chatty Cathy cling up to you.
Shruging his ivory shoulders with nonchalance, he paused in his step a few yards away.- "I wasn't aware I was disturbing you."
"My mistake." -Turning his gaze elsewhere, he pondered over which way to go now, since his path had been cut off so abruptly.-

"Well you were." his tone slowly seemed to fall into an almost soft kindness. "It was your mistake... but I suppose..." He trailed off and went back to licking his paw.
"I'm Dafina."

-Gaerwn's brows rose softly, geniunely surprised as the words slipped from the other male, and lightly he turned his eyes back to him, listening, before he nodded in soft greeting.- "Gaewrn."
-Inspecting the other male's actions while still attempting to not seem to stare at him, he settled about his haunches. It was obvious how tenderly he treated the paw, but to ask "are you alright" would probably only bring another snap. Very few LIKED to mention things like injury and disability. So he offered a statement that was a little more innocent.- "Are you hungry?"

Dafina looked up and tried to not meet the other's eyes. "Gaewrn" he repeated. "Call me Daffy. Dafina is too close to a girls name" He made a face when mentioning this to show his displeasment of his name. He continued tenderly treating his paw until he placed it gentely upon the ground "Hungry?" he thought about it. "No not really. I wouldn't mind a drink though" He was trying hard to be nice. He couldn't muster up the strength to smile but he did manage something close to it.

"Daffy it is." -Thankfully the amused smile at the statemnt didn't creep too heavily on his face, ivory and ebony maw keeping subtle indifference plastered.
A drink? Ahhh right. Eyes turning gently, he glanced around them for sight of trees, not spotting any too near, he lifted his nose, scenting for water.- "Mmmm.. I do not smell any close.. But perhaps there is a hole feeding those trees in the distance."
-Stepping forward a step or two, he added lightly.- "I think I could use a drink myself."

"Well..." He was trying to speak calmly and nicely to the other. "Gaewrn... let's go!" He tried to get excited but he came out more like a quetsioning excuse... Daffy remembered being alone for the past few days away from his pack.. he was lonely...
"Even if it's not close" he paused "Maybe we could just take a trip out to it together?" He had a differnt tone. A strange one that longed to just be with another.

-The trip ended up eating up half the afternoon. Though the water wasn't too incredibly far, Daffy's pace on his wounded paw slowed them mildly. Not that Gaewrn minded really. Something about traveling with someone nearly as indifferent as him was amusing. And the light little bits of chatter they did have cued Gaewrn in to the homelands of the other male. Soon enough he'd head home he guessed, and Gaewrn would keep heading towards the sunset. He imagined after too long the pair would have tired of each other anyway, but for one solitary afternoon they made for good company.
Having drank, rested, and drank a little more, Gaewrn finally lifted himself as Daffy made mention of heading back. He didn't need help of course, so there was no reason to follow, so instead he nodded in farewell, saying bye to the tricolored wild dog.-
