Help.

My step mom and I went and spent about forty dollars on bras for me... and some panties.
I of course didn't want to try them on and all I knew was I was wearing an A when we bought them, so I chose a 34b... Thinking... yanno, it would fit. (I know nothing about bras... ever.) But when I got home, I have this HORRIBLE habit of taking tags off before trying clothes on... and I did just that. The bras were really tight around my ribs, and... I don't think I'm a b. They were just plain too small. Now my step mom... if I told her, she'd KILL me. I would kill me too. But one of them without wire wasn't AS tight, so I can wear it... except now... it's overflowing. They don't look or feel that big at all. >.< I don't know what to do or how to tell her that the bras don't fit anymore. I mean, that's normal in pregnancy, but we're REALLY tight on money. Extremely. And we still have to fix the car.. OR ELSE. O__O;

I mainly wanted to tell someone and get this off my chest. (Pun not intended.) but if you have any suggestions, I'll gladly take them. :]

You gotta wear bras and you need one that fits. Your health and comfort are most important during pregnancy. I'd suggest getting a couple of sports bras. They're not that expensive, and they're more comfortable. They also stretch so they may be ideal for you. Hope this helps.

My stephmum tends to be rather handy with fixing and 're-making' clothes. Don't you have anyone you know that can sew or soemthing, so they can change it to your size? sweatdrop

I have this old comic/teen girl book magazine thing, and it sometimes had things in it that explained how you could make your own clothing. Someone made a bra out of two tissues and some other material. Maybe you could go looking for 'clothing recipes' like that?

xD I know nothing about bras, I only know what colors I like.
And sorry for teh extreme lack of vocabulary here. rofl

Also, there are these little things you can buy to add extra size to your bra's if they're too tight. They're just a little piece of stretchy fabric with bra hooks on the back. I don't know what they're called or where you get them. (sorry redface ) but that would probably be perfect.

Simply called bra extenders.

Mmm. Well, I don't need those anymore, because now the cups don't fit either. I'm wearing a bathing suit top. I found some of my older sports bras, but they are also too tight now. I just have to live with a bathing suit top, because we still have to buy baby clothes! And a car seat!! [Only two weeks left before baby comes. Maximum.]

You're going to need good bras when the baby gets here. Are you breastfeeding? IF you are the baby tends to pull on the breast which will in the long run make them sag. If you're not, you're going to be leaking for a while so you'll need something that can hold in the breast pads. If you're not too freaked out about wearing a bra secondhand, maybe a friend or family member has one you can use.

Also a lot of communites will help you get a carseat if you need one. Try checking with your local fire department or police departments.

Sports bras have become my new best friend. My chest has gotten so freaking large... 38DD when I used to be a 34C. I have trouble finding comfortable bras so I went to sports. But even now I can't even wear most of them. Soooooo I went to Lane Bryant and bought a decent bra that hooks in the front and its been one of my best maternity purchases. Luckily the nursing bras run large anyway...

What your original problem was your actually chest, what made you the 34, has expanded...believe you me...I miss being my 34C, my sister and I both arrived at the same cup and chest size...We started at the same...It's kinda freaky, but oh well...When my 34C's became too small, my mom thought okay, well, you can have some of mine, they're 36's, so I agreed...but within a couple days, my boobs were overfilling the cups...I have this thing with bright colours so only ever wear bright coloured bras...interestingly enough, I chose a lavender/mauve coloured bra in my new size of 38C >.< it's average to go up like ONE size, my sister and I and apparently Narcissa, we're the above average...I think my mom is jealous actually lol...but I'm gonna breastfeed(or try to) for a couple months....I still can't wrap my head around that whole 'they're giving you baby food and not just for pleasure anymore' thing....
