She bounded through the woods, free from both her most obnoxious brother and her father who were too busy fighting over the attentions of the same mare to pay where she ran off to much mind. Things couldn't possibly be better. Or, rather, they could and would be better the moment those three foals emerged from their baskets. Then her father would be kept even more distracted.
With that thought in mind she made her way to the stream that she'd met Dharmesh by wondering if, perhaps, Nuka would be there. It wasn't all that far from the place where the two-leggers had made their camp and she had caught a trace of his scent there. It was possible, afterall, wasn't it? If not she could always head to the plains and just... Run.

He'd taken a dip in the water to get some of the days dust off him and was currently sunning himself dry while he munched on a patch of bright green grass. No more scrounging for something tasty. Spring was well on it's way and that meant that the grass was going to be coming back full force.
Tail swishing behind him he straightened up as he chewed on a bite. After this he could go wandering around and see if he could find anything of interest to talk to. Maybe that bright yellow wanna be goddess was still around. She was good for a conversation if nothing else.

She paused by the stream, dipping her head down to take a sip before looking around. There... Down by the bend in the stream. She nickered softly as she tossed her head before trotting towards the stallion. "Nuuuka." She called out when she was close enough to be certain that it was him.

Oh no. He recognized the voice instantly. He'd been trying to avoid her damn it. Sighing he turned his head and when he caught sight of the filly, no mare, his eyes widened.
"Well well, someone's grown up." wasn't she suppose to be avoiding him? "Disobeying your dad already huh?"

"Didn't Ah tell you Ah'd be catchin' up ta you soon?" She nickered softly, remaining a few feet away from him with her head held high and a sly little grin curving the corners of her mouth. "Da's... A bit preoccupa'd. Ah told him Ah'd talk ta whoever Ah wanted to... Y'tryin' ta get rid o' me already?"

"Still got some time before you catch up to me." He laughed as his tail swished behind him. "I'm always going to be one step ahead though. Older than you and all."
Preoccupied? Then he must have gotten himself in trouble with Rogue again. "Should listen to your dad. He is only looking out for your best interests."

"Actually, right now Da's lookin' out for three little baskets an' tha mare who just had 'em. Ah've got new brothers an' sistah's... Or maybe jus' one or tha other." If she had been able to shrug at that moment she would've. Instead, she just tossed her head back, holding it a bit higher. "If ya want me t'leave Ah will. Jus' thought Ah'd come an' say 'hello'."

"So that's what trouble he got himself in." Figures he'd knock one mare up and then managed to get in good with the green one. Seemed like something Remy would do.
"I didn't tell you to go away. I'm just trying to be nice and not get you in trouble with your dad. Sides, why would you want to hang around with an old stallion like me?"

She seemed to pause and think about that for a moment before turning away from him with a little flick of her tail. "Ah guess you're right. Don't see no reason why Ah'd want to hang 'round someone so very, very old. Not like you'd be able ta keep up with someone youngah than you anyways. Must be why Ah could run circles 'round you when Ah was youngah."

"Hey now. I'm not that old" He snorted and shook his head. "And you could only run circles around me because i was standing still." He wasn't all that fast and he would probably loose a race to her but that doesn't mean he was slow by any means.

He huffed and trotted over to her. "I may be older than you but i ain't old." His tail flicked behind him as he set his shoulders. "I can keep up with anyone and anything."

Her own tail flickered idly behind her as she turned her head away from him, doing well at playing the 'completely uninterested' game. She was used to it, afterall. She played it with her brothers when they were insistant on telling her what she was and wasn't allowed to do.
"Ah believe your exact words were 'Why would you want ta hang 'round with an old stallion like me?'... Weren't they? Right there. Y'just called y'self old, Nuka. Now you sayin' y'ain't old. Don't that make you a liah?" She nickered softly, tilting her head higher. "Maybe Da was right 'bout you.. Maybe y'are trouble."

"Never disagreed with your father that i wasn't" He grinned t her before trotting off toward the water a little ways. "Sounds like you're having too much fun calling me old."
He turned his head and looked back at her. "So why would a pretty little filly like yourself want to be around me?"
