((PRP with Kanati, Elawi and Viscoso. Backlog Rp so Vis and Elawi will be played as foals in this Rp))
Viscoso had wandered away to go exploring, as he always did during the day. There were so many places he could go. The meadow was where he went most often though since there were so many tasty things to snack on and new friends to meet too. Once he had thought about visiting the forest but it looked kinda dark so he decided not to. At least not today.
He wondered what his family did whenever he wandered away. Did they come looking for him? He was sure they did when they figured out he was gone but he usually returned before that happened.

Kanati awoke late today but was still determined to carry out his plans. Walking out from the naturaly teepee he and his family called home he shook off the leaves clinging to his back. He walked abit leaving the slight shadow the edge of the forrest made on the land before looking about. It seemed Starshine was off somewhere with one of his their daughters but Elawi had just come around the corner a smile on her face and a song in her heart.
"Elawi where is your brother, we are to take a trip today and I wish for your brother to come too."
Elawi jumped abit she had just come back from one of her lessons with the Phantom. She still hadnt told a soul about him yet she felt no need to and certainly didnt want to have to share her singing lessons.
"I dont know father. I was wandering on my own today, let's go look for him!" Elawi skipped off in a random direction.
"Little Brother,oh little brother!! Vis where are you!!!"

The colt's ears twitched around hearing a faint voice in the distance. "Elawi?" Why would his sister be looking for him? Maybe she wanted to play a game with him! He trotted off in the direction he heard his sister's voice coming from and soon enough he spotted the brown filly. "Hi Elawi! Whatcha up to?"

Kanati had followed at his own pace and wasnt far behind Elawi. He smiled at the sight of his son,he couldnt help but be proud of him.
He walked closer to his foals his steps as always making no sound.
He didnt speak though he figured he would let Elawi tell him.
"Father wants to take us on a trip, Vis!!" Elawi said turning round to look back at Kanati before trotting around Viscoso.
Elawi was excited she would get to hangout with both her father and her little brother.

"A trip?", he asked curiously. "What kind of tri-" Then it hit him about when his father had talked about him teaching all of them. About being wise and stuff like that. "Oh is it that trip?! Do we get to learn how to walk and make no sound like you do dad??". he asked, looking up at Kanati, his tail whipping back and forth with excitement.

"Oh I hope so that sounds like fun!!!" Elawi now turned to her father and waggled her tail in delight.
How fun it would be to add such grace to her ability to sing.
Kanati grinned at his foals but also wished all of them were around but he would give extra lessons the the missing foal later.
"Well sort of Viscoso, Elawi, you see such a thing takes time its not something you can do right away. You must learn to understand the nature before you can be one with it my foals. It will not all be fun tricks on your path to walking one with that which is around you, my foals.
I don't wish to use the word work, for if you are anything like
your father, you will enjoy it.
It is both your choices rather you come with me to learn or not so remember that if things get tough.
So my foals will you come with me?" Kanati smiled to the foals he didn't want to force them to learn his ways it had to be their choice.

Viscoso tilted his head as his father talked. Work? Work didn't sound much fun but if daddy enjoyed he would too. "Okay dad! But how could things get tough? Aren't these just simple lessons? You make it sound like we're gonna be doing a lot of work and work isn't very fun. Oh and how do you understand nature? I mean trees don't talk so how can you understand them?...Do they?" He gasped. "Do trees talk, daddy??" So many questions, so little time.
((He cracks me up xD))

Elawi waggled her lion like tail and hopped abit.
"I want to learn Father. I don't care what it takes." Elawi said before nodding with all of Viscoso's questions wanting to know the answer.
"You'll see what I mean, not all work is hard labor." Kanati said as he started to walk showing would aid in his explanation and there was only one place he could count on for being ripe enough with spiritual energy that even one that knew nothing of what was around them would feel something.
"Trees talk if you listen, so does the wind, the sky, water, and the very ground beneath your feet. You see everything has a spirit, you have a spirit,I have a spirit, the trees have spirits and they all have something to say they are just waiting for someone to listen to them."
Kanati was heading towards the mountains and didn't look back knowing his foals would follow.

Viscoso trotted after his father, next to Elawi, listening again to what he said. "Wow. I didn't know that. What kind of things do they talk about?" The colt tried not to ask too many questions but things like this were confusing. And what was a spirit? He hoped all these things would make sense when the lessons were over cause being confused wasn't a good feeling.

Elawi choose to keep quite her brother was asking the question she has she walked close to her brother eyes darting between Kanati and Vis.
Her ears twiched lightly as she considered these facts.
"Lots of things,from stories of soquili much older then even myself to simply facts of the weather. You know it was the wind spirits that brought me and your mother together. I remember it like it was just yesterday. Your mother loved to race against the very winds themselves.
They blew her towards me as I listened to the spirits of our world.
Then they whispered ever so softly someone special was coming and wouldn't you know it was your mother,though I didn't know that at the time of course.
You will understand, I'm taking you to a place where you cant help, but know the spirits are there."
Kanati moved steady in one direction to mountain bottom getting closer as the went.

"Hm. So you could pretty much have a conv..con-ver-sation with the trees." He had to sound out the word conversation since it was a pretty big word for him. "Or anything else, like the wind. But how did the spirits know that mom was someone special? How would they know that you two would be together? Can they see the future?" That was it for questions. He felt like he was just being annoying now, so he might as well just let his dad teach them what they needed to know.

"Sometimes you can, but most of the time you simply listen to what they have to say. Spirits know the past, present, and future of our lives. Sometimes they even plan your furture for you."
They reached the mountain bottom's face and Kanati begun to walk along it.
Flicking his tail he seemed to be looking for something as he did.
"Don't be afraid to ask questions. That's how one learns."
Elawi followed her father and tried to spot what he was looking for, but not knowing what it was herself she was really no help.

"I never knew trees and spirits were so smart. That'd be really cool to see the future or maybe even the past. We won't learn that though, will we dad?"
Viscoso wasn't sure what his father was looking for either. He moved closer to Elawi and whispered. "What do you think it is he's looking for, sis?"

"No we wont be learning that,but the things
you will be learning shall be just as useful and at times
a lot more fun."
Kanati looked for a few more moments before smiling.
"Ah here we are."
Kanati begain to pull on branches and some roots
that seemed to be growing on the mountain's face.
"I don't know, but it looks like he found it."
Elawi hopped a bit and dodged the twigs Kanati was throwing back.
