A hidden dungeon lies beneath the sands of the desert. Just waiting to be uncovered, many pieces of rare ancient armor, articfacts, and much gold to be had. The desert spans thru half of the continent.

After finding a bandana in her pack. A sigh escaped her lips. The golden glow of her eyes passed thru the bandana. Running her fingures thru her violet hair. She chewed on her bottom lip"How on earth are we going to pass thru this..."she whispered and slowly shook her head"Werre not ready for this....Not at all...".

"Let's make camp here for today," explained Draku. "That way, when night falls, the desert would be calm and we would be granted a safe passage. Somewhere in the desert are ruins. We'll find one on our way and camp like nomads. We'll reach Xiphos in four days unless we run into trouble."
Draku dismounted his horse and made his way through a group of trees. He grabbed his weapon's hilt and swung his weapon. The razor sharp blade managed to slice through a a few inches into the tree's trunk. Steadily, he chopped at the tree in a faster rate. The plant weakened and with a mighty kick, the young tree fell to the ground. Draku was surprised at how he actually managed to kick it down. It seemed like some force helped him to do so.

She examined the desert thru the black bandana and sighed. It no longuer was as bright now. She pat the horse gently and examined his soft fur"Leave the horse. It wont make it thru the desert. We dont have the water to suport it..Hardly ourself aswell..."running her fingures thru her hair. She walked along the tree's shaft. Slow elegant strides as she took her steps and jumped from the small platform that rose her from the ground"This will be difficult for you to walk in, humans are heavy creatures...Are they not?".

"I am one hundred sixty pounds." he said blankly. "Im going to use this tree to make camp."
Draku cut the tree down to size that it looked like a small bush. Underneath was a very wide space, covered by low hanging leaves. He crawled in, seeking refuge from the desert heat.

She followed behind him and examined the area. It was cool, and comforting. She smiled"Its comfortable cool..."she laughed softly, some branches and thick amounts of leaves covered the bottom. She layed on her back, partialy sprawled out and sighed"Your awefully good at building, we normaly just find a tree and sleep in it..."a giggle passed thru her lips.

"Im not used to living in trees as you elves." explained Draku. "Your race is almost bonded with nature. Besides, I dont want to fall of while sleeping."
Draku crawled out and took the horse's saddle. Since the creature was of no use anymore, he tried to tell it to leave.

Poking her head out she let out a soft laugh"It will leave when its ready..."she laughed and stared into the horrid forest"Are you sure we should travel at night?"she asked and bit her bottom lip"The undead thrive the forest at night the most...."she breathed in a nervous breath"But they do not dare go into the desert...No meat, flesh..."she paused and laughed aloud.

"We're passing directly through the desert." said Draku. "It may be cold at night but at least its calm. Before the sun falls, we should make sure that our stomachs are full. For me anyway. I assume that the like of you do not eat flesh of any sort?"
Draku slid the saddle from beneath the leafy tent to use it as a pillow. He gathered his weapon at belongings and made his way into the forest.
"I'll hunt now before night falls. I'll be better off. Hopefully, I don't manage to lure in any undead species." Draku said, his voice vanishing into the distance, "You want anything?"

"Finding fruit of any kind will be imposible in such a discusting forest..."she sighed and stuck her head out and watched him leave"Try and get some deer..."a laugh passed thru his lips and she layed her head on the saddle.

Lecta's voice faded and disappeared behind Draku as he moved closer to the forest. Dead twigs and braches broke from beneath his feet, alarming every animal in the forest as the cracks echoed through the dead silent forest. The smaller mammals scattered, fearing the foreign visitor. Draku slowly halted himself to a stealthy tip toe. Sunlight disappeared at a fast and steady rate. Soon would be dark. He should have been able to find one deer by now. There it was. A lone deer passed through the forest, looking in every direction and focused it eyes upon Draku. The distance between them was reasonably far so it didnt budge. Reaching into his pockets, he pulled out several throwing needles and braced himself for an assault. Draku took a step and quickly fell back. Another deer, most likely a female approached the other as they communicated in an unusual manner. Almost instantly, he lost heart in killing any living being as of now. Disappointed, he made his way back to camp. By the time he arrived, darkness had swallowed the lands. Silent winds added to this lonely mood as he turned towards Lecta.
"I couldnt find any deer." he shook his head and gathered his belongings. "We should head off into the desert now. Its safer."
Few minutes past and it had become completely dark, hiding everything from sight. Draku grew a feeling of paranoia in him as now was the time when the undead struck whatever creature was defenseless. To Draku's surprise, the darkness gradually disappeared and it seemed as if daylight killed the darkness. In reality, a normal human would be as blind as a bat at this situation.

She untied the badana from around her head and her eyes piered the dark. She sighed in relief and a smile spread across her face"No luck...?"she asked and stared up at him"Makes allot of sence, that forest...its a horrible place..."she laughed weakly and slowly shook her head"Keep an eye out for cactus, those things are quite edible...We grow them in our city...".

"We should go around this cliff and reach the desert base. Or I should go around the cliff.." said Draku blankly. Why am I so incompetent?
Draku overlooked the cliff and followed its edge. It made him a bit dizzy, knowing how it was over 100ft. tall. This was the only way he knew how to get down easier: Following the edge until he reached an area he could easily climb down from. Hopefully, he would not oversee a pit and fall down to his death.

Draku grabbed hold of a rock, and set his foot on another. He could see clearly through this darkness somehow. Perhaps some type of shapeshift has occured once again, triggered by his instinct. He set his left foot on another one but it seemed like he stepped on air. His foot slipped and lost his balance. All of his weight relied on the rock which his hands held. Obviously, the rock was too small and was incapable to hold over one hundred pounds. The rock crumbled and Draku fell to the depth of the darkness. He gave out a loud scream as he continued to fall. His body pierced the steady winds. His clothing fluttered in the air furiously and his hair covered his face. His heart beat as fast as he fell. Instinct then kicked in.I cant die now..I cant!
In an instant, Draku grabbled hold of his blade and shot it towards the cliff wall. The blade tied gripping in the wall as it slid down, send rocks cascading down the vertical cliff. His other arm grabbed hold of his other blade, and smashed it into the wall. Eventually, Draku came to slow stop. Draku gave out a sigh of relief. Am I still alive?
