...Okay, so I so wanted Jack to be brainwashed. Then when Kate showed up and was all, "Jack!" I wanted him to be all, "My name is Chrysanthemum now. I have joined the Holy Order of the Great Lostzilla, Our Aardvarkian Guide to the Cosmos."
Yeah. I have problems.

Real irony, not the Alanis kind. BTW, since this is the episode discussion thread and the episode has aired, it's not considered spoilery anymore. At least, not in this thread.

This episode was awesome!
I had so been looking forward to the Kate/Jack reunion though, that what really happened was rather...disappointing. Even though I suppose Jack was still trying to be heroic in a way, he failed miserably this time. They really should have just made out.
You had to love some of the lines between Ben and Locke too:
Ben: "Get the man from Tallahassee." Locke: "Is that some kind of code?" Ben: "No, John, we don't have a code for 'Help, there's a man hiding in my closet with a gun to my daughter's head.' Apparently we should though."
and...
Ben: "What if I told you about the magic box, where you can pull out anything you can dream of?" Locke: "I hope that box is big enough to pull you out another submarine then."

I loved this episode.
I totally didn't see it comming.... how he got paralized, that is.
But I really don't think Locke blew it up because of his dad. If his dad was trying to find him to "finish the job" or whatever, don't you think he could have done it in the (at least) four years that Locke was paralized but not on the island?

Kira Sunfire This episode was awesome! I had so been looking forward to the Kate/Jack reunion though, that what really happened was rather...disappointing. Ben: "What if I told you about the magic box, where you can pull out anything you can dream of?" Locke: "I hope that box is big enough to pull you out another submarine then." I love the part where Ben was like: "What do you mean by that you know the island better than me?" And Locke was like "Cause your in a wheelchair and Im not.." XD And the ending!! THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!! Did you see the look on his dad's face?! It was like seeing a ghost.
