[new image goes here yes] Want your Fa'e to grow to the next stage? Curious about what the status is on your growing art? You're in the right place. Most requests for growing and quests should be approved quickly, provided that growings are open. HOWEVER, keep in mind that in-character, your Fa'e needs to have matured and to be ICly ready to move on to their next stage in life. If we feel that there has not been enough activity or development for the Fa'e to grow, we may ask you to work on a few things and come back at a later date. For those who know they're on the growing list, the status of your art can be found here! This is all the information that the staff currently has about growings - note that Anya's work is somewhat sporadic and that the wait may be long even if you're on the growth list. You are perfectly welcome to begin your growth quest as soon as you know the growing's been accepted, however just because your quest finishes doesn't mean your art will be ready right then. If you'd rather wait until we have the art on hand to quest, that's fine too. smile

 Before you do anything, think - is your Fa'e really ready to grow? There is a mandatory wait time between growings, that varies based on stage. You are welcome and even encouraged to take more time than this if you want to, but this is the bare minimum. (Also note that just because the minimum wait time has passed does not mean that your Fa'e will grow immediately - when your Fa'e grows is also dependent on Anya's real life schedule, on how many growings are in line ahead of you, and may also be affected by IC concerns.) The Stages Baby -> Toddler Stage: The Fa'e must have been a baby for 1 month. The toddler quest will be given by the Fa'e HQ account in a post in the Fa'e's journal, and will not be given until the toddler artwork is in-hand so that the growing can happen immediately upon quest completion. This quest is always an item-gathering one, and traditionally other Guardians will assist you in getting what you need. smile Toddler -> Kid Stage: The Fa'e must have been a toddler for 2 months. Kid quest may be either chosen by the Guardian or assigned by the Fa'e HQ account, at the Guardian's decision. Kid quests usually involve the Fa'e learning about themselves OR discovering their rudimentary powers. It should not put the toddler into an overly dangerous situation, and it should be about the Fa'e, not the various NPCs and Guardians involved. Kid -> Teen Stage: The Fa'e must have been a kid for 3 months. The teen quest requirement is a multi-stage RP 'story' done in the Fa'e's diary, that can be done either solo or with the involvement of other Fa'e. This quest must relate to the Fa'e's past life in some way, in which they learn more and perhaps challenge their past. Teen -> Youth Stage: The Fa'e must have been a teen for 4 months. The youth quest requirement is also a multi-stage RP 'story' done in the Fa'e's diary, that also relates to the Fa'e's past life and self-discovery. After this quest is over, the Fa'e MUST arrange an RP with Airi, to touch base. Youth -> Adult Stage is determined by activity; we will invite you to quest when the Fa'e is ready. What makes the Fa'e ready? Maturity, personal growth and character development, and of course being active in RP. Naturally, all Fa'e will grow to Adult eventually, but those who meet the above criteria will be given priority as our way of rewarding active roleplayers. The adult quest is a joint quest, meaning that you must write with at least one other person, with their Fa'e (or other character, with GM permission). The focus of this quest should still be the Fa'e, of course, but it should integrate the other players in a substantial way as well, with the assisting characters helping (or hindering!) the Fa'e in exploring the challenge you choose to set before them. Adult -> Elder Stage and above is not yet available.

Once you get a positive reply from the FAE HQ account about your growing, you are ready to quest! If the quest is a prompt one, the prompt will be posted in your Fa'e's diary. If the quest is a story/roleplay one, you may begin writing - keep in mind that the roleplay/story quests should be involved and take some time and effort to complete. When you are within a few days of your quest's completion for story/roleplay quests, please PM the FAE HQ account again to let us know so we can check on the status of your art! If you want your Fa'e to grow IMMEDIATELY upon quest completion, you may want to delay finishing the quest a bit if the art isn't ready just yet. We will try to work with you so that there will be as few delays as possible, but they may well happen just the same. And when your quest is all done? smile Let us know, and your Fa'e will grow!
