People in the East cannot handle alcohol as well as us Westeners. This is because way back, when water was too poluted to drink, people were finding ways to make water drinkable. In the East, they boiled water with leaves, and so created the first teas. In the West, they boiled water with Yeast and made the first alcoholic drinks. The fact is, that after all these years and years of drinking alcohol, the West developed immunity to the alcohol, which means we can drink it by the gallon. The East haven't developed this immunity and struggle after one pint.

According to Google this is something interesting to read. neutral
I was thinking of posting some of this story that I'm writing with some friends as a present for someone...but on second thoughts...it's pretty...um...strange. sweatdrop
