Well he is, in an interview he said that he had the last episode of Naruto planned out @_@ it's making me twitchy about sasusaku heres what he said Quote: SJ: Oda-sensei says he knows how One Piece will end – do you know how Naruto will end? Erm... I'm thinking of the philosophy I have as a writer, "A good writer has the end in mind even before he/she works out the details in the middle. That way, he/she knows where the story's going, and how it's getting there."
He said nothing about how SasuSaku is going to turn out. He gave us no spoilers, so nothing is for certain right now. But I'm really hoping that it'll be SasuSaku in the end. Anyway, it's really no cause to panic - he didn't even mention any characters when he answered the question.
(Though you DID frighten me when I saw the thread.)
I like what he said about Sakura and Lee though. They do represent human weaknesses, and in my opinion, he also shows how people can overcome weakness or make a weakness their strength.

I have to agree with Tenshi no Hana-chan.. I think that Kishimoto-sensei wouldv'e known to some extent to how he will want to end Naruto. I believe that since Shippuuden, or the time-skip, was created, it's going to take a long time to finish.. I think that this second Naruto part, will probably be as long as the first Naruto.. Having Masashi speed up the story doesn't really mean that he wants to end it quickly, so I just think he's going to take his time... know what I mean?? Errr... And yeah, I also hope SasuSaku will prevail at the end!! xD xD xD

I'm not worried about it either. He has an ending in mind, but he's had it in mind since the beginning. I believe Kishimoto stated that it's just a matter of actually getting to the end of the story.
Keep you're faith alive. As long as Sasuke's around, there's still a chance-- and Sasuke is Kishimoto's favorite character, after all.

Im kinda nervous though as well, the Shippuden hinted alot of NaruSaku, as did many of the opening videos! gonk If NaruSaku happens then It will prevent two of my favorite couples from ever being together!!!! *panics* Please Kishi! Dont let us down!

^ yes your also right but kishimoto also put a lot of hints of SasuSaku in there too it's not certain :/ .... there's another fourm in the sasusaku guild that is called Chapter covers made by kairi.nin the chapter covers have sakura in them but it's also talking about some one else that i believe is sasuke :/ *hint, Hint* maybe he's giving us hints that it might happen ^-^
Yes this post kinda scared me for a moment i was like What What >.< my computer was acting slow and was loading very slow biggrin

god, you got me nervous! lol
but humm, like he said, he has many things that has to be done for him to actually get to the ending, so that's alot.
So you never really know =S.
But really, I kinda don't care about with who ends up with who in the end.
BUT, I really want SasuSaku to happen, if not, then what are you gonna do.

It's good that Kishimoto has an ending in mind..at least he won't be swaying this direction or that direction by the influence from the fans lol..although if it's SasuSaku I won't mind one bit lol. Yeah, he doesn't give out spoilers for that at all...I'm just hoping Naruto will continue as a really long anime and that Kishi won't get tired of it with his family and schedules ^^ I'm totally rooting for SasuSaku.

Ya,i kinda realized that after the first 5 minutes,then i was like,"...CRAP.. eek "
One of my friends (Smores_101 her account got hacked -.-) told our english teacher about it and he just nodded and started teaching.Then he was like,"Sometimes the author will give you alot of clues...then turn it in an unsuspecting way" (he was making weird hand movements ._.)
So then i thought 'yay! theres alot of hints of narusaku.maybe he'll turn in an "unsuspecting" way and go sasusaku' then i thought of all the sasusaku hints.... >_< i'm an effin worry-wart.

Ehh... I'm still not nervous.
A few things to remember-- KISHIMOTO HAS NO CONTROL OVER THE ANIME WHATSOEVER. He's even stated that all control is in the hands of Studio Piers. So openings/endings/etc are not his doing, and they hardly count as hints. If it's not in the manga, don't fret over it.
Also, Like I already said, Kishimoto has had the ending of the series planned since he started it. It's not like he started on a whim. To be freaking out about it now is kind of... delayed, don't you think? And the interview itself is pretty old. If he's churned out this many chapters since then, I highly doubt the series is almost over and there is still tons of room for development.
And, like I said before, Sasuke IS Kishimoto's favorite character. We have 3 main characters in the story line, guys-- Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto. Naruto is just who the series happened to be named after, because he's the one who influences ALL the characters-- meaning he has a place in the lives of every character in the series someway or another. This doesn't make him the one to get the girl-- and in all actuality, I think it makes him less likely to get her.

He was probably talking about the manga. Yes, that's it. Because the anime is most likely going to turn out the same way. The animators could also choose to have a alternate ending if they like theirs better...
But, this topic scared me, the conversation didn't.

I personally think Kishi has had the basic storyline of NARUTO in his mind since the very first chapters. I mean, all the hints in the splash pages; Sasuke holding a katana with a snake coiled around him, Sasuke with a flute, the various pictures of the slug-snake-toad trio. So this isn't a big surprise to me.
What worries me though, is that NARUTO may be coming to an end soon. I think Kishi has rushed the latest chapters, ie. Oro's death, and at Jump Festa 2007, in response to the discussion about One Piece being a long manga and the end of NARUTO, Kishi stated "Hmmm, NARUTO isn't really a long story", which was followed by a chorus of groans by the crowd. I would personally like NARUTO to continue, but it may not be as long as we all expect.
