The sand crunched nicely under her hooves as she trotted across he beach. This was the best time of day to be out. The sun wasn't too high and the air was still warm and the waves crashed perfectly. All that would make it better would be someone to play with.
The beach, for all that it was her favorite place to be, wasn't all that fun without a game. There just wasn't much to do accept look at the water, occasionally poke at a crab, and maybe if you were lucky find a clean bit of seaweed to eat.
Shaking her head she trotted into the water a little ways and waited for the water to splash over her legs. She defiantly needed to find something to do.

 Adriel on the same hoof, was also bored out of his mind. Trotting quickly through the grasses near the shoreline he snorted loudly. He left his mom and siblings a long time ago now, it seemedlike a figment of his imagination.
Its not that he didnt care about them, it was more or less he needed to roam around like the adult stallion he was. He was usually closer to his mom anyways, and she was a purebred unicorn... so she was used to being on her own.
Stopping the blue and white alicorn headed towards the water out of random inpulse. He didnt even notice the other was there, she blended in well with the water... either that or Adriel was just stupid.

She would have taken no notice of the white and blue stallion had he not actually headed in her direction. She heard the sand crunching behind her and turned to see what was intruding on her day.
Hopefully something fun.
"You know. It's better manners to introduce yourself if you're going to just walk by someone." Not that she really followed those rules herself half the time but he should have better manners. She was a lady after all and he should respect that. "Or did you forget that lesson?" Laughter touched the last of her words as she turned completely.

Adriel would never admit it, but she did give him quite the start. "And did anyone ever tell you not to talk to strangers, little girl?" He replied to cover up the slight jump he would have done otherwise.
Smirk on his face Adriel sorted loudly, and went a little close to the water. The salty liquid ran around his hooved with each wave.
Lady or not this other, didnt matter to him. He didnt have to talk to to others around him if he didnt want to.

"They did. Obviously i didn't listen very well did I?" She raised a brow and looked at him as he tried to ignore her. She'd have none of that. You didn't just come walking into her space and then not talk to her. She was bored damn it.
"Though you know that question is pointless since if i'm talking to a stranger then so are you by asking."

Adriel stared down at the foamy water as he spoke. "Ahh but you see, no one never told me not to talk to strangers. Thats where we differ." Grinning he the stallion flicked his overly-long tail a bit before he looked towards her again.
She seemed to love the water, it wasnt aparent by her standing in it.. but it also seemed to be a part of her, with her pelt color. Meh, boredom observations. Snorting he kicked a semilarge stone into the water, it was a little 'plunk' noise before disapearing.

"You're mamma should have taught you better." Or maybe she should have listened better to her own mamma. "Though where's the fun in meeting people if you never talk to strangers?" Her tail swished slightly in the waves behind her as she grinned at him.
"If you only spoke to people you knew then you'd end up only talking to your family"

"As is the story of our lives." He mused at her hypotethically speech. "My mother let me make my own decisions, she just taught me what i needed to know."
"If we continue on with what you say, then it is to be assumed if your a only foal youll never talk to anyone else besides your parents. And then if you are abandoned by those parents, you wouldnt talk to anyone else. Then would others consider you a mute, or a shunned member of society?"
Adriel was now babling, but he didnt really care if he was or not.
"Not that any of that matters cause it obviously doesnt apply to us, or we wouldnt be chatting." The male said with a mischievious look.

"That's exactally what would happen to you if you listened to that stupid rule. Good that we don't listen to it." She grinned at him. It was easier to make friends if you just started to talking to people. At least she saw it that way.
"We wouldn't. Good thing we are or i'd be horribly bored." At least if she was talking she didn't have to think of things herself. Things presented themselves to be said when someone else was there. Looking down at the water she snickered as a silvery fish darted around her legs.
