"Bum bum bummm..." Ashe sang as she peeked around the corners of her house while imitating a gun with her two hands. "Yes! The coast is clear!" she said as she ran to the front door. She quickly opened the door and closed it veerry quietly as she made a run for it. "PHEW!" she let out a sigh of relief as she continued with a, "YES I MADE IT OUT!" You see, Ashe made plans with Taji to sneak out and be "Big Girls" and go play in the park like rebels do. Of course, Taji approved and then it goes on from there.
Ashe was proud of herself since it was the first time that she has ever had a successful 'sneaking-out-of-the-house-without-anyone-knowing mission, or S.O.T.H.W.A.K.M. according to Ashe. But of course, Noah knew, he just, once again, decided to ignore her.
So from there, Ashe started to walk to Taji's house, hoping that she--too--was successful in escaping her brother's grasp. Ashe snuck around the Delnoir's front lawn on all fours and peeked through the windows that covered the entire house. She saw Taji jumping around in the living room, and silently made gestures to her, hoping that she would notice.

And of course Taji did notice, her attention naturally drawn to anything bright and spazzy. She grinned brightly and, pausing mid-twirl, waved to Ashe through the window before immediately dashing off to retrieve her coat. She slipped her feet into her shoes too, and loudly announcing "I AM SNEAKING OUT NOW, I WILL BE HOME BEFORE LUNCH" to the house, she jumped at the doorknob and twisted it open and slipped through to the outside before anyone could protest otherwise.
"Daaa da-da-da daaaaaaaa!!" Taji sang the notes to a victory song to Ashe, hopping down the stairs to join her friend in romping around the front lawn. "Okay, okay, we hafta go quickly, before they set--" She paused for dramatic tension, before placing her hands on her hips and shrieking, "THE BEES! Upon us." Nodding for emphasis, she grabbed Ashe's hand and began leading her towards the park, breaking into a run.

"EEEK! B-BEES?! I HATE BEES!" Ashe exclaimed as started to run around in circles, slapping the air, hoping the bees wouldn't come into contact with her. But Taji didn't take any time to scream and she quickly grabbed Ashe's arm before she could even get up. This resulted in Ashe stumbling on the ground many times, but this didn't stop Taji. Not at all.
Eventually Ashe let out a, "Where are you taking me!?" Hoping that Taji would answer, but when they were almost to their destination, Ashe realized where they are by the gigantic tree in the middle of the grassy greens. "THE PARK!" she yelled with excitement, and right when she said that, and idea popped into her mind and she just had to share it. "Taji! I've gots an idea!"

"An idea?!" Clearly this called for an idea dance! Taji obliged with lots of spinning and stomping and jumping into the air, and finally came to an approximate standstill some moments later after scaring away nearly all of the immediate population of squirrels and birds.
"Tell me tell me tell me!" The star spirit accentuated each demand with a little hop, and looked as if she might burst on the spot with excitement.

"IT'S SO GREAT! I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner!" she exclaimed as she continued on how great the idea was, but it soon turned into how great she was.
Ashe settled down with the very self-centered thoughts and finally yelled, "WE'LL GO CLIMB THAT REALLLYYY BIG TREE OVER THERE AND RULE THE WORLD! I CAN JUST SEE IT NOW! US, SITTING ON TOP, LOOKIND DOWN ON ALL OF THOSE...LITTLE PEOPLE!" Ashe let out a very loud, evil-madman kind of laugh as she thought of more ideas in her mind.
"This will also make a great novel, that someone, someday, would want to write about! I can just see it now! The Adventures of Taji and Ashe In the Big Tree At the Park."
"Oh! And...copyright Ashe Sinclaire." she added with a grim smile.
..
.....
"...Well what do you think?!"

Taji was with her all the way up to the last question. Think? Think? Nobody had ever expected her to do that before! "I think..." Taji began hesitantly, blinking bewilderedly at the giant tree Ashe had introduced her to.
She had good taste, at least -- the bark was, well, barky, and looked as if it would provide good handholds, and the branches were thick but plentiful, growing in such a way as to provide an easy climb to the top of the tree.
"I think very yes!" Taji finally declared, placing her fists on her hips and beaming up at their new conquest-to-be. Flashing a grin towards Ashe, she broke into another flailing sprint towards the tree (this time, thankfully, leaving Ashe and her limbs alone.) "I'll race ya!"

"WHA--?!" Ashe exclaimed as soon as Taji ran, "HEY WAIT UP!" she yelled, running as fast as she could, which she proved to be, not that fast.
They finally reached the tree, and of course Taji won, but only because she "cheated." Ashe even said so. "WELL YOU CHEATED ANYWAYS! AT LEAST I'M STILL PRETTIER AND DIDN'T MESS UP MY HAIR!" But the truth was that Ashe had a bunch of leaves stuck into her hair from the big tree, but she didn't have a mirror on hand to tell!
But Ashe was too excited about climbing the tree to care about flattering herself, so once she finished bragging, she started to climb up the tree. But first, she made sure there was no one around to stop her.
A few minutes passed, and Ashe was finally up. She yelled down to Taji, "WHAT ARE YOU WATING FOR?!"

"I DID NOT CHEAT," Taji yelled back, accentuating this with a stamp of her foot. "YOU LIE. YOU'RE A DIRTY LIAR. You've got leaves in your hair, here." Leaning forward onto her tiptoes, Taji very delicately began picking and combing them out of Ashe's hair -- but before she could finish, the other girl had already begun climbing the tree.
"Haay, HAAY," Taji began whining, which was what she did best. "Wait for meeee!" She hugged the tree and began searching for handholds, digging her fingers into the bark and delicately pulling herself up. Unfortunately, she was too heavy for the bark to support, and it came loose very easily, sending the star spirit tumbling to the ground.
Clearly this was going to take a bit of thought. Dusting herself off and backing up a little, Taji took a running start and threw herself at the lowest overhanging branch. She managed, through a stroke of luck, to close her hands around the branch and, after a moment of struggling and kicking out her legs and swinging herself, dangling a precarious few inches off the ground, finally pulled herself up onto it. "Haaay! Hay, Ashe! I did it! See?!"

"I'm not a liar! I play fair and square!" she said, looking down at Taji. But when she saw how far down she was, she couldn't help but yell out, "HAYY TAJI. You're so slow! Like a bear or something! Lookie! I'm already...." Ashe had to pause and count how many branches higher she was, "4 branches higher than you!"
You see, in the amount of time it took Taji to climb the tree, Ashe was busy climbing higher and higher, all for the glory of reaching the top first. So Ashe exclaimed to Taji, "LAST ONE TO REACH THE TOP IS A ROTTEN EGG!"

Taji thought about this for a moment. "You are fair," she decided -- Ashe did resemble a princess, after all -- "But you, madame liar, are not square!"
But even so, she was already higher than her, four whole branches as she pointed out. Taji stuck her tongue out at her friend and dug her fingers into the bark again, determined to scramble up after her like a squirrel; all this resulted in was the shredding of bark with her fingernails, leaving long pale streaks in the treetrunk. Surprised, Taji scrambled away along the branch she was resting on.
"Ashe! AAASHE! I think I hurt the tree!" She wailed, but her short attention span did not leave her much time to repent before it seized upon the prospect of a challenge (and, more importantly, her inevitable failure should she remain where she was.)
"I AM NEITHER ROTTY OR EGGY," she exclaimed back, slowly standing up on the branch, slightly crouched, and reaching up for the next branch.

"I know I am fair!" Ashe exclaimed, flinging her hair behind her shoulder, "And I'm glad I'm not square! Cuz those are boring!" Ashe cringed at the thought of being a square. "If I was a square, then I would be ugly and...UGGGGLY!"
Ashe continued to climb, and ignored all of Taji's comments since listening to them would only slow her down. She reached for the next branch and could see the top from where she currently was, and she just had to let out her thoughts. "I CAN SEE THE TOP FROM HERE!" she exclaimed, now going faster than before.
When she finally reached the top, she just realized something. But she wanted to wait until Taji reached the top as well since she didn't want to ruin the surprise!

It was much slower work for Taji -- for one thing, she was far less coordinated, and did not have a tail to help balance her as Ashe did. For another, she also weighed more, and the tree creaked in protest as she continued ascending.
But finally she managed to catch up to Ashe, wedging herself in an intersection of branches. "I am not a rotten egg," she began lowly protesting preemptively, and her tone of voice almost immediately perking up, giggled, "Haaay, look how closer we are to the sky!"

"I know! It's like we can touch the clouds and the sun from here-- WAIITT...!! I 'member what i was gonna tell you!" Ashe said with a wide grin on her face, "I THINK WE'RE STUCK! BUT I can't be sure...!!"
Ashe looked down to the ground, and saw just how far from the ground they were. And when she realized how hard and scary it would be to fall, she shrieked. "EE! GET ME DOWN!" Ashe yelled and whined, shaking the entire tree, causing leaves to fall from the ground.
"What do we do?! WHAT DO WE DO?!" Ashe asked Taji, starting to hyperventilate.

"Stuck?" Very slowly Taji began to wiggle her hands, and then her feet, then her arms and legs. No, no, she could move. It would be kind of hard to get herself out of this branch but she could probably do it if she needed to.
Or wanted to. Like, now. "DON'T DO THAT," Taji immediately wailed back as Ashe set the tree dangerously rocking with her panicked movements. "Just -- stay still! Do you know how to speak Tree? Maybe we can ask it to let us down...?!"

"Do you think the tree would help us down? Maybe it'll move its branches for us to make steps! But I DID learn Tree at home! Noah taught me!" Ashe said, with a hopeful expression on her face. "If I could only remember what 'Please let us down," was...Hm.." she said, now with a very determined look on her face.
..
...
"I DON"T REMEMBERR!" she exclaimed, starting to wail again. "Is there another way we can get down? Ask for help?! Call 911?!!! THINK OF SOMETHING TAJI!" Now Ashe was getting even more scared, and she even started to shake Taji very vigorously.
