Name: Nyhali Mrndraebon
Age: 21
Appearance: About 5'8", slender and graceful, red hair, green eyes, fair skin. Generally wears simple but elegant clothing except for formal occasions when she wears more "acceptable" attire. Almost always wears a ruby set in a silver chain.
Personality: As red-heads are wont, she has a fiery temper when someone treads too directly on her toes, though she's better at hiding it than some. Unless pressed she usually remains calm, if not entirely collected. Sociable up to a point, she tends to get along with her griffon better than she does with most people.
Background: The illegitimate daughter of a Heideshi family nobleman, she was born about three months after his second son. (Guess he couldn't bring himself to refrain that long...) She got the looks and temperment of her foreign servant-mother, but the intelligence and grace of her father. Raised as the child of the nobleman's steward (Whose wife was unable to bear children.), she got the same sort of education as her half-brother with none the wiser about who her real father was. The lie that the steward had fathered the child on the servant so that he and his wife could have a child was easily enough accepted and the servant was soon afterward sent away. Many years later on a trip through the country the family was attacked, and the steward and his wife were killed along with many other retainers. The nobleman's wife also died, and the nobleman himself injured while helping his elder son to fight off the band that attacked them. Nyhali had been visiting with the younger son who had been knocked unconscious during the initial attack and defended him fiercely, gaining herself a wound on the thigh that turned into a nasty scar. The nobleman ended up dying of his wounds, but not before telling his children the truth about Nyhali's identity, and in the end they made Nyhali an "honorary" member of the family for her valiant efforts and in memory of her "parent's" service. The truth was that the brothers had both come to see her as sort of a little sister anyway, so they made it as official as they could without darkening the family name. The game of politics is not often kind about such matters, and Nyhali was well aware of that. She was however uncomfortable in the place that held so many memories, good and bad, and ended up journeying to Xuan to live in one of the families' vacation homes on a permanent basis. She of course towed along the griffon gifted to her by the younger brother on her birthday some time earlier.

Name: Kaisa de'Siriphine
Age: 23
Appearance: Blonde (under whatever dye he's currently using), around 5'10", well muscled but still looks a bit on the effeminate side, especially with how long his hair is. Usually wears clothing that matches whatever color(s) he currently has his hair.
Personality: Kaisa is a hunter, to be blunt. Whether it be game animals, griffon poachers, or lovers he's after, he is skilled and often relentless. Though in the case of lovers he's a lot more subtle. His tastes are varied and include both sexes, though is generally rather selective in who he flirts with. At least, who he flirts seriously with. At times he is a proper gentleman and others a complete prankster, and very few people know him well enough to be able to predict his moods or actions.
Background: Being the 5th son of House de'Siriphine, Kaisa didn't have a lot to look forward to regarding inheritance of lands/responsibilites, so he decided to make a career out of one of the things he most enjoyed; training and breeding griffons. ((BECAUSE OF SHOP INFO CHANGES... No, he isn't licensed as a breeder. In all honesty, he actually does very little in the griffon breeding department if it doesn't involve his family's birds. He has a little experience with it so he might give advice if asked, but mostly he deals with training young griffons.)) Since the Heideshi lands were known for having excellent breeding stock in regards to racing griffons he became a rather good acquaintance of the family... and Nyhali. No one is entirely sure what happened between them but it's speculated that it was one of the reasons why she fled to Xuan.

Name: Victoria "Vic" Sypher
Age: 24
Appearance: 5'6", dark hair, slate blue eyes, well toned, and while she is pretty she's perhaps a bit too... "weathered" looking from constant travel and multiple scars across much of her body to be considered a beauty by most of society. Wears dark clothes, style depends on region. She also wears a two-faced mask because of massive claw-scars on the left side of her face from her eyebrow down almost to her chin. She didn't lose the eye, but it was a very near thing.
Personality: Anti-social would be one word for it. Sociopath would be a better one.
Background: She doesn't talk about her past much. For whatever reason she became a bounty hunter in her mid-teens and she's proved to be good at it.

Name: Tika Ukuhleka
Age: Six.
Appearance: Medium-dark skin, dark hair, and brown eyes. She takes mostly after her father in coloration, though her build is more like her mother's - petite but not frail. She's very healthy and energetic.
Personality: Curious, stubborn, practically fearless, she takes a lot after her father in this respect too, though she's shown a lot more sense than he did at her age, which she probably gets from her mother. She wears little girl dresses, but she's definitely a tomboy, and comes home dirty more often than not.
Background: She was born to Keman and Dalia a few years after Keman came to serve the Heideshi family, and she's sort of like a mascot for the servant quarter that now works the most closely with Nyhali. She grew up being underfoot for Nyhali's parents, and considers Nyhali sort of like an aunt.

Silence: Nice. Polite. Somewhat subdued. Didn't talk to her very long.
Laura: Nice. Well-mannered. Probably very fun, but definitely fun to talk to about griffons.
Remiel: Nice. Seems to have a difficult time with small talk, but haven't know him long enough to be sure.
Shane: Nice enough, but then again, bar-keeps tend to be. Helps keep a customer coming back and all.
Mal: ...Just met him.

Flirted a bit with Kalei, Aeron, Leolin, and Zephan in the thread but that doesn't really count. XP
Aeron: Quite graceful and strong, and very well spoken. Lovely male. Bit more agressive than I'm used to, think I overreacted a bit to it. Not sure if he'll talk to me again after that. Trill: Seemed very stubborn and didn't like it when other exerted authority over him by age or otherwise. Disciplined enough to still obey the authority of his human, at least. Looks like he'll be quite attractive when grown.
Chade: More subdued than Trill. Also more polite, and seemed wiser than Trill. Looks like he'll also be quite attractive when grown.
Leolin: Silly, sweet, and playful if aproached properly. Rather naive. Took care of his shyness around females... I'm about to lay his eggs. >>;
Elrok: Polite, quite gentlemanly. Attractive enough, but his coloration doesn't quite strike my fancy.

Shane: Barkeep at the Penguin. So she's already got extra points from me. ;D GREAT sense of humor.
Iris: More subdued than Shane, but just as entertaining. Her humor is a bit more menacing at times, but I like a fiesty girl. Too bad she's taken.
Mal: Attractive and possibly the most entertaining person I've met in my life. Probably make a good friend. Well... might depend on your definition of "good".
Rem: Also quite attractive, and it's so much fun to tease him I'm surprised there isn't a law against it. Especially when Mal and I team up on him. He seems to know Nyhali and judging from the blush when I mentioned her, he's had much the same reaction to her that I had when I first met her.

Trill: ...He asked a question. What am I supposed to think of him? He seems big and loud so far. There.
Chade: Small, much quieter than his companion. More intelligent, too, would be my guess. He's also more attractive, even if he was a juvenile when I saw him.
