This is where you share your akward or funny moments singing/talking about the Rent Music!
I recited the whole La Vie Boheme B (you know, where everyones singing really quickly?) during warm ups for our school play. I'm pretty sure, by the time I hit "short carrers" everyone was staring at me. I didn't realize it until I finished (after pumping my fist in the air and turning around). I started laughing hysterically, and everyone joined in. A friend of mine wants me to teach it to her, even though I don't know how to. sweatdrop

A friend and I sang La Vie Boheme in Coney Island at like... midnight a couple days ago... it was great. Then in line for a concert, we sang Light My Candle... when we got to the wax part, the people infront of us turned around and gave us a dirty look. x3

Just that me and my friend both like to sing along to rent, and we both have good voices, but our voices clash SO bad. We sing along anyway, but it sounds so terrible. It's funny.

I was jamming listening to Out Tonight on my Ipod and I decided to dance and sing into my hairbrush. Well.. My dad walked down I expected him to be mad but he started dancing too!

I was about 10 singing along with my mom in the car to La Vie Bohem B, when it came up to "To Faggots, Lezzies, Dykes, Cross-dressers too..." Me in my young infanite wisdom, had been singing "To Faggots, Wesley Snipes, Cross-dressers too..."
This made perfect sense to me at the time, strictly cause I had seen the movie To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar, where Wesley Snipes plays a Drag Queen. Watch the movie, I found it funny as hell. Out of the 3 leading people, I'd say Patrick Swayze makes the most convincing woman. It sure as hell isnt John Leguizamo *shudder*

My friend, my brother and I were singing RENT on a half hour long car ride. We went all the way through La Vie Boheme, but we didn't realize her dad was recording us. The next day he gave me a CD of us. So now our random RENT outburst is forever immortalized.
Good times...good times.

We were on a break in our band's practice, and I broke into song singing "Out Tonight".
I cracked when I tried to hit the howls in "Out".
Seeing as I was the drum major this past season, those few who were around me when I did that didn't let me live it down for that season.

i was singing La Vie Boheme in my house at the top of my lungs.So,jut as i got to the part with leather and dildos,my dad walks in.lol.He just had this funny look on his face and slowly closed my bedroom door. XD

Um.. Only have one, I believe. I recently got the RENT soundtrack, and my cousin was driving us back to her house. I was spaztic about having the CD, so we listened to it. She just drove while giving me the ocassional odd look as I sang with all of the songs..
What was embarrassing was me singing along to... all of the songs with her listening. Which is... embarrassing for me, since I dun like singing in front of people... xp

I was playing the second disk in the movie soundtrack and thank God it was after La Vie Boheme, but I left it on when I left for band. Luckily it was at the lowest volume, but my dad was home and I hope he didn't hear "Take Me or Leave Me."

My friends and I were ordering at a fast-food chain restaurant, and at the end of our order when the cashier said "Is that it here?", we all screamed out "WINE AND BEER!" ...Help her out? OMG, that made me laugh so hard!!! xd xd xd Anywho, yesterday in math we were learning how to buy a house. My teacher kept on saying the phrase "...what you owe..." and I had to bite my lip. In my head I was screaming, 'Quit saying that! I'm going nuts in here! Fine!' So I ended up singing through it in my head.
