Having some anatomy issues with poor ol' Steven here. I think he looks great from the side, but somehow looks silly from the front. It's hard to figure exactly why.  And just for fun, Bob's character sheet:

I wish I could draw figures from the side. D:
I dunno what's making the first guy look strange from the front. It may be something to do with his small waist and his arms/shoulders. I can't really pinpoint it, but I think it's something in that area.

Buff guy's chest doesn't look aligned with the rest of his body in the first drawing. I imagine that's supposed to be because of the sash pulling the rest of the fabric in at his waist, but it still looks a little weird. His waist is also very tiny! I think it's more of a problem in the second drawing since his upper arm looks to be the same size.
I really like the drawing of Bob, though. I also like their uniforms.

far be it for me to tell you how to draw
but it just looks like his upper torso is TOO big
almost henry rollins-esque?!?
but i like it nonetheless. it's sort of goofy looking but maybe you dont want it to be that way so maybe i should shuddup sweatdrop

Drew has done the gracious deed of handing me off a draw-over: So here's me scrapping their entire bodies and starting over, and when I am done I will Photoshop their old heads onto their new bodies D: I'm such a shameful Frankenstein artist. i think he looks weird from the front because it's hard to tell wtf his posture is doing. in the side view, he's very upright and it's evident by the way his back is straightened and his shoulder's are thrust back.
in the red draw over, you can really see that in the frontal view, he appears somewhat cow-hocked (maybe because of the way you drew his calf muscles? i would make them more prominent on the outside and smaller on the inside.) and slouching..and the two sides of his body are slightly uneven.

Also: to make buff dudes look proper, it is CRUCIAL to draw some barbells and triangular-weights nearby.
