It was the noise that woke Hae up from sleeping. The sheer noise of hundreds of people walking around and talking, the little beep of the electronic registers. He looked around to see that Mom was a ways away. Dad was nowhere to be found. Along with the circle-machine that little people lived in that made noise.
Two seconds later and bored crazy, the little baby decided to iniciate Operation: Scout. He leaned forward, pushed away from the cart-seat, and took off, flying around about a foot and a half off the floor.

Thomas walks with his Swordsmaster, the older anthro helping his mate with the newborn twins. He lets out a sigh and looks around, spotting the electronics store with a grin. He glances back at the little family and wanders over to the store. They never noticed that Thomas was with them as they moved on.

Hae flew around, looking for interesting stores. Out of the corner of his eye, the music-loving baby spotted... a guitar! How awesome was that?! He zipped into the store and went straight for the guitar. Feeling all over it, the naiive child tried to play the strings. Frowning when they didn't move at all, he tried again, to no avail. The baby frowned at the guitar. /Stupid instrument, why won't you play?!/ he asked the piece of plastic angrily.

Thomas spots the little guy and grins, walking over to him. He was first interested in how the boy was able to fly with the mechanical looking wings, and if the legs of his were brittle like the seemed, but then he noticed he was trying to play the guitar. He chuckles and steps up behind him, pushing one of the buttons, "It's a game, you press the 'strings' to make the music." He smiles and motions at the demo playing on the screen above them. "See?"

Hae blinked at the weird-eared kid, vaguely remembering something about strangers before he hovered right over the kid's head and began playing with his ears. "Li' eas," he complimented the older boy. Watching the game and the guitar, the screwy hummingbird had to reply sadly, "Nuh-uh."

Thomas chuckles and twitches his ears, his mismatched and odd eyes dancing happily. He may be a genius and cold hearted since his fathers' murder, but he was still a kid. He tilts his head curiously at the sad reply, "Nu-uh what?"

Hae pointed at the game. "Nuh sea." /Guitar not guitar. Button make light flash where press button. Big picture keep changing./ Out of nowhere, he began chanting a part of a song, flying in a small circle, "Zamykai I lizhi stanovis' nikakoi. I ruka ne drozhit vse v poryadke s rukoi."

Thomas raises both eyebrows in slight shock as he watches the boy in delight. The wings on the kid were amazing! He wanted so badly to snatch him out of the air and start inspecting those wings of his that his hand were starting to itch.

Hae went as far as noticing the kid was looking at him. The boy tilted his head at the older boy as he was stuck with a great idea. "Wanna pway a game?" Games were fun. Especially games like 'Hide-and-Seek' and 'Capture the Scroll'.

"Um, sure. Why not?" Thomas grins happily, his tail flicking behind him. He shifts on his feet, his shoes tapping quietly on the ground.

Hae grinned widely, happy to have someone who would play with him. "Wha' kin'a games you know?" Under his mop of blue and dark-blue hair, his ears perked up at the sound of tapping.

The boy shrugs one shoulder, "All sorts of things. Name something and I'll probably know it." He smiles and continues to watch the younger boy, ears perked at attention. Illium and his family still hadn't noticed his disappearance.

Hae paused and hovered in one spot, thinking. "Maaa.... dere Hi 'n' See, Tahg, Shinobi, Ciw'we peo'oe, stawio..." Then again, glancing around, it didn't look like they could play Circle People or Sterio...besides, those were games for when you were alone.

Thomas widens his eyes at the mention of Shinobi. He hadn't played that game since his fathers' death, "You know how to play Shinobi?" He asks softly.

Hae tilted his head at the change of mood. "No wanna? Bu' Shinobi es whewe one pewson ha' a missin an da 'econ pewson twy ta sto' da fir' pewson fwum finishing da missin. I's kinna complwicaed..." Shinobi was a fun game, though. Especially when you win.
