Job(s) : Part-time writer. Owner of Passional, the "intimates" store of Port Gino. Before moving here she was known to have different jobs here and there but her main source of income is really unknown.
Appearance: Halo is on the average to tall size for a woman. She towers over her lover, Wren. She's very thin but has big bones and wide hips. Her hairstyles change often but she has dark hair that is never tampered with. Her clothing style is not solid but she is always in something relaxed. It's usually dark colors, jeans and t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, leather, spiked belts and bracelets. Everything is always comfortable and you will never catch her in a skirt unless it's a wedding or a funeral.
Personality: Halo is crazy. Well not crazy like insane, but crazy like wild. She likes to have a good time. She's fairly funny and can be very helpful and nice with people who she values as close friends. To everyone else, you may as well not exist. Those she dislikes will KNOW it. In general she is not a very nice person at all and has been feared by some social circles. She can be fiercely protective and vindictive along with possessive of her loved ones (especially Wren). No one has ever seen her TRULY angry. That can result in violence.
Hobbies and Special Skills: Halo is very good with computers. That's about as far as any special skills that are free to be posted publicly (*leers at wren*). She loves to read and write. She's a comic nerd and tends to watch cheesy TV and movies and LOVE them.
Personal and Family History: Halo doesn't share any info about her family before this point or her life. She did have a mother and a father and she has mentioned a brother every now and again but noone will ever meet them. What she IS and what she's DONE are pure mystery. If people ever ask if there's a little demon in her she just sort of laughs pervily and strikes looks to her lover, Wren. She has been spotted with horns on occaision and sometimes a fluffy coon tail, though even Wren worries as to where that came from.
Theres some talk of her having rather questionable origins based off of her fondness for motorcycles, weapons and leather. There is talk of magic in her blood as well but she's never demonstrated anything of the sort. How she came to meet Wren is also a mystery that only the two of them know. The fact remains that she fell hard for the man and they have been inseparable in spirit even when distance has been put between them.
She hit the jackpot when she landed that man because he ended up having a gorgeous manor in Port Gino where she now lives him and their numerous adopted children, pets and Tom and Carmine (don’t ask *_* ). She runs the local intimates/sex shop and fills the rest of her time with taking care of their kids (who are all rather young).
No one, no matter who you are, ever knows what's going on with the woman or what she's really all about.

Job(s) : Eccentric and quirky writer, occasionally lends at hand at Halo's shop or Carmine and Gaitano's store -- when coerced.
Appearance: Below average height for a man, Wren is somewhat short, most likely the embodiment of the phrase 'cuddly bloke' ( but few will ever actually get to cuddle him ). He has dark reddish-brown hair that spikes out in different direction. It's usually kept however it feels like being on some particular day, as he will often mess it up by running his hand through it or tugging on the hair himself. ( Lately his son Mael has taken to tugging on his hair, so not only is he the one cause behind any cases of bed hair or bad hair he ends up with. ) His eyes are blue, often seen behind a pair of glasses that are necessary and rarely will one ever see him without them on. He does his best to keep in shape, which leads to being dragged out to exercise by whomever.
Personality: Just a tad been eccentric ( or maybe a lot ), Wren possesses a lot of personality quirks, most of which will never be seen. He's generally a very kind and caring individual, pleasant to be around and very friendly. He's also overly protective of his family, friends, and loved ones -- even Tom and Carmine. He can sometimes have that personality that makes one think he's out to please people, but in reality he's not. He simply does what he thinks he should do and that's that. He has no qualms about getting into someone's face if they've done something wrong. Wren can be very nice, but when he gets angry it's probably best to leave the general area.
Hobbies and Special Skills: Writing would probably be Wren's number one hobby and skill. He's not too shabby at it and can make a living off of it if he needed to, which he does. He can be a veritable jack-of-all-trades and around the house claims that he does have some sort of spiffy ability, but doesn't talk about it. Actually, he's probably as normal as he looks.
Though it's a matter of opinion if someone considers his looks normal.
Personal and Family History: If he actually tells you anything about his history and life before coming here, consider yourself very lucky. He's a secretive bugger. The only thing that he really tells anybody is the fact that his parents referred to him as demon spawn and often relates the story that his mother found him on the side of a road beside a cabbage patch, under a rock within a snake egg that held a chrysalis. He was born complete with little demon horns and a tail.
... the demon horns somebody might see, the tail is another matter. So is if the story's true or not. Currently Wren lives with Halo, the woman he fell madly in love with and adores, with three children ( all boys ) and various pets. The house they stay in is his, but from the way the others seem to have run of it, no one would ever be able to tell. He doesn't seem to mind Tom and Carmine so much, nor does he mention how they came to the house, but the only time he ever gets twitchy is when they start paying too much attention to the children or to him.
He'd like to not get involved in one of their schemes, again. Right now Wren works as a novelist, occasionally writing small things for papers and the like. He's basically a freelance writer and apparently the income is good ( or he could just have another source of income ).

Job(s): Retired Headmaster of de'Medici International School for Boys. Scientist. Co-Owner of L'Arsenale, Port Gino's finest weapons boutique.
Appearance: Tom is a man of normal height, about 5'11", with a thin and trim build. He has dark brown hair, bordering on black. His eyes are hazel-green and very piercing (only because he knows how to use them). He looks very good for his age and always dresses in tasteful suits. He takes very good care of himself and always has his hair trimmed neatly. Sometimes he is known for growing a bit of a goatee but for the last year or two he's stayed clean shaven. He's not known to smile very often though it has been seen sometimes. Mostly by his husband and others in the house. But that is just in terms of his pleasant smile... He is not the type to raise his voice but when he is upset, you will know it.
Personality: Tom is a man who likes to get straight to the point. He is also a man who always gets what he wants. He keeps his private life and hobbies as exactly what they are, private. He is married to Carmine but this fact is not advertised. They both do wear their rings at all times though and are fiercely possessive. Tom also seems to make strange company and some of the people that he and Carmine have over the house are of questionable morals and backgrounds. Some of these visitors are rumored to be connections worse than that of the mafia.. but no one is really sure.
Tom is ambitious, intelligent, wealthy and knows how to get what he wants. He is quite fond of logic and the sciences so he keeps a tight reign on his emotions. He does not give out praise easily and compliments are generally only given to Carmine or if someone truly deserves it. There is much more than meets the eye where Tom is concerned but he doesn't hide the fact the he is an evil evil man.
Hobbies and Special Skills: Tom is a connoisseur of fine wines. He has (what he believes to be) very good tastes and if you cannot meet his standards then do not even talk to him. He likes nice clothing and shopping (something he doesn't spread rumor of) as well as fine food. He collects weaponry and though he lacks formal education in their uses, he is very good with a blade from years of his own *cough* practicing. He swims every morning to stay in shape as well as keeping a very active............... life.
Personal and Family History: Gaitano Rosso was born to a wealthy family in Naples with a long line of boy's coming from the de'Medici International School for Boys. He attended all 7 years and excelled. He had a knack for the sciences and was known as a ruthless soccer player for his House team. It's not clear when, but some time in his years at school, Tom met Carmine Valerio and they started their own dynamic and multi-facetted relationship. By the time he graduated at 18 he already had won the school's science award and had taken an apprenticeship in a prestigious laboratory in Rome. He'd also begun his weapons collection the same year, a hobby that has yet to leave him. The work in the lab, while fulfilling his intellectual need, did nothing for his lust to gain prestige and power. He was not aware of the Ordine dello Spirito Fervent, a secret organization founded and based from the school itself, and wouldn't become aware of it until he took a position as the Physics and Chemistry Professor in the school. The Headmaster of the school (and Head Priest of the Order) recognized Tom's thirst for power and immediately had him initiated. He gained rank quickly but was nowhere near powerful in the organization. Eventually, through events that are not discussed, Tom became the Headmaster of the school and the Head priest of the Order; the youngest ever. He kept this position for 20 years before retiring from the job of Headmaster. He is the first Head priest of the order to work outside of the school grounds. His position is a precarious one, with many thirsty for the position which he holds. With his retirement also came the retirement of his husband, Carmine, who was the school's resident doctor. The Order is not common knowledge and it is never spoken of, but it gives Tom connections, very shady and long reaching connections. How he and Carmine came to live in Wren and Halo's house is something that is not discussed. They all have a sort of house truce though, and Tom and Carmine have their own wing to live in with their cat, Nicolena.

Job(s) : Retired physician for the de'Medici International School and in general. Co-owns L'Arsenale with Gaitano and will occasionally step into the roll of being a doctor when necessary.
Appearance: On most days of the week, Carmine will appear to be neat and orderly, well put together in his suits or the shirt and slacks he chooses to wear. Rarer days, now all most non-existent, when he's not up to his personal best, he can look scruffy and mess, obviously having crawled out of the wrong side of the bed and not giving a damn about what he looks like. Days like these, few now, his cat that got the canary grin fades into a tight lipped frown. He keeps his brown hair cut short and straight, though sometimes it can ruffle up in whatever direction it pleases despite his wishes. He works out regularly to ensure he maintains his slim body build and the muscle he has. The man prefers to look his best.
Personality: Carmine's personality is highly disarming. Most of the time, no one will ever realize what he is truly up to, despite the fact he can seem like a cat on the prowl. He carries himself as if every move he makes has some purpose in the greater scheme of things. No longer actively a doctor, Carmine has lost a bit of the kind and caring edge he once had, though it still shows up whenever he does act in that office. Married to Gaitano, though neither one advertise, he is quick to act if someone crosses into his territory and let loose with the rapier wit he has. If it is only that, one should count themselves lucky. Most will probably never realize the depth of evil, or the cunning and devious intelligence behind all the pleasantry of Carmine's words. He is never what he makes himself out to be, except to Tom and those at the house.
The doctor is a man who is far too use to hiding himself within a crowd, someone who prefers to be in the background rather than the foreground -- though he would not have it any other way with Tom. He has a cool attitude and it is unusually hard to anger him to the point he will never reveal his anger in public. The odds are, he understands someone's emotions better than they do themselves, but that's his little secret. He's never seemed bothered by the company he keeps with Tom. After all, there are worse things out there in the world.
... right?
Hobbies and Special Skills: Besides his knowledge and aptitude in the medical field, Carmine also has exceptional skill with various blades, knives, and the like due to his profession. ( Part of those skills can be contributed to Tom, but no one really realizes that. ) He has an ear for music and singing ( just not opera ), but does not employ either skill. He is a veritable jack-of-all-trades.
Hardly ever talked about are Carmine's abilities. The man possesses what most consider ESP, the ability to see and speak with ghosts, and is able to see auras quite clearly -- as well as different types of energy, never mind be sensitive to them. Carmine has a habit of being able to pick up on other people's thoughts, though he does not actively put the power to use ( all most never ), and is top-class empath. His ability to sense and feel others people's emotions is to the point he all most all ways keeps mental barriers up to not be bombarded and there are rarely any times that he will let them down, least he find himself overwhelmed by feelings that are not his own. As it is, with Carmine's sensitivity to energies, Gaitano has seen to it ( though Carmine did assist ) that their residence is actually sterile of any magical, supernatural, or other energy -- otherwise, Carmine would never be comfortable. Never mind the protections set on the man. ( No one besides those informed and those within the house know about Carmine's talents, unless he informs them. For the most part, they are his gifts and his bane. For as useful as they can be, they can just as easily harm him. )
As a side note, he does enjoy dancing, hiking, and nature -- and loves any sort of trips that include all of them.
Personal and Family History: Carmine grew up in Italy, a rather happy boy who would talk to many imaginary friends of his. At least his parents believed them to be imaginary. It wasn't until Carmine started to get older and did not stop talking to his invisible friends that his parents began to worry, and because of it sent him to a psychologist. Shortly thereafter, Carmine showed no abnormalities at all, and his conversations with thin air abruptly ended as the boy himself figured it would be for the best to act normal. ( This has also caused him to have a rather large dislike for psychologists. )
Eventually he was sent off to the de'Medici school where he quickly became known for his bright mind and wicked sense of humor. His interests were in both the sciences and the arts, along with the few other activities he got himself involved in. Unfortunately, he also came to the attention of a particular Order at a young age because of his abilities. They quickly recruited him, making him a full-fledged member, even as he was becoming involved in his relationship with Gaitano Rosso ( an interesting relationship for both men, one that lead to learning on both sides ). At first his work within the Ordine was non-important, but at one point they decided to use him as a way to scout potential sacrifices and the means they used in making him able to do so literally blew his mind and destroyed whatever boundaries and limits there had been on his abilities.
Carmine woke up several days later with a pounding headache, voices in his head that would not shut up, and felt as if every feeling he felt was not his own. He couldn't even begin to wonder why some people looked like they had a glow around them or why his headache worsened at the odd feel of energy in the air. Whatever they had done to him, he decided them, had amplified and made matters worse. His perception after that has never been the same and likely never will be. Where before the apparitions he saw were only faint, he could see complete figures that he could reach out and touch. Vague emotions he had previously felt distantly were turned into full fledged visions and thoughts about situations and event he cared nothing about. It was now not uncommon for Carmine to do or say something before someone even mentioned it. He hated every moment of his newly ( accidentally, stupidly ) increased perception, but it only made him that much more valuable to the Order and his fate within it was sealed.
Over time he learned how to control his skills somewhat ( and progressively better as he got older ), at least to the point where he was not being constantly beaten into the ground by them, and they were put to use by the Order. ( The use of Carmine's abilities, or being heavily bombarded by erratic energies can befuddle him and drain him, so he does his best to not actively use them. ) Despite whatever else he was suppose to do, Carmine graduated from the de'Medici school and went on to go to medical school. A choice he made after learning one too many of the ghosts he came into contact with had died because of improper or lack of care from a doctor. ( Do not be mistaken, while it is genuinely compassion that drives him to be a doctor, there is also a healthy dose of morbid interest in how people tick -- not that Carmine admits that to just anyone. )
Carmine's existence within the Order was possibly one of two largest secrets that had been kept from Tom, but when the man joined as well, he found out. Just as he later found out about Carmine's abilities. Through various events, that Carmine assisted in, Tom became the Headmaster of the school as well as the Head Priest of the Order. He himself ended up taking a position at the school as a physician after working at a private practice for a few years. Eventually he retired along with his husband and lover, Tom, and has basically taken up the job of making sure no one tries to come after Gaitano. Carmine is, after all, a force to be reckoned with in a rage. Being away from the school has put less of a strain on his abilities and tempered him somewhat. He is still use to organizing and handling Order business however, and dealing with the connections it offers -- which he still does on a frequent basis.
And no one really talks about how Carmine and Tom came to live with Wren and Halo. In fact, it's better off that no one knows. It simply could be that where Tom goes, Carmine follows and vice versa. One in two.
