Tsuki opened one eye, and stifled a yawn as she got herself up. She stretched, bending her two forepaws forward, and her hind legs backward. Ooooh, how she loved the feeling of that pull on her muscles. It was delightfully good, and she felt that guilty feeling of instant satisfaction, like one a human would get from eating a packet of chocolates in a few gulps.
She shook her mane. It had been a while since she'd gone anywhere special, or done anything to be proud of. Her puppy-hood days were distant memories, it seemed... and now, she had grown from a pup into a beautiful lady.
Tsuki lifted her body from the dust, and sniffed the air. It was time to hunt. Almost instantly, she spotted a hare in front of her... and proceeded to stalk it, crouching low. Finally, she pounced, and took the hare off guard - the creature struggled only for a moment, and then went limp after Tsuki had snapped it's neck. Well, here was lunch. That was easy.
She lay the animal down on the golden patch of grass in front of her, and dipped her head in respect for it, a silent prayer wishing it's spirit a safe journey into the afterlife, and thanking it. Tsuki was a good natured girl, but the truth was that she needed a feed, and so killing was natural.
Without a moment to spare, she tucked into the animal, gently pulling at it's flesh.

A white klipspringer nibbled an equally black klipspsringer's ear. He sighed. "Are you going somewhere again?" The black klipspringer asked.
"Yeah. You can sleep..." he said pushing himself from the ground. He nuzzled his sisters head as she lay her head back down.
He rounded and turned to walk away from his sister. "I'll be back by morning..." he said to her.
Tis klipspringer, though he stood out quite a bit, loved to go on small strolls. Pale white agaist plains stood out, as did the black of his sister's pelt.
He didn't know where he was going honostly. His ears flicking every so ofter in alertness. He did not wish of a repeat of the pridelands.
He stopped, ears perking up as he took a cautious step foreward. "Maybe I shouldn't..." he doubted going any further.

Tsuki heard, as many do, the light sound of hoof-steps against earth, and at once her ears flicked back. At once she directed her fiery gaze towards the pure white klipspringer, and her mouth opened.
"Oh, dear," she said, and gently propped the hare down, "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you at all. You, poor creature... I mean, seeing me ripping into... well..."
She quickly rubbed her paws against the grass, trying her best to rid herself of the red bloodstains. She got it off a little, but resolved that she'd need to go for a swim later to wash most of it off... it was really noticeable on her pure white coat, and Tsuki couldn't help but feel self-concious about the faint bloodstains when she was looking into the eye of a prey animal.
"I beg your pardon," she said, eyes glittering. She'd matured a lot since she was a pup, and it showed, "But don't worry. I won't try anything. I'm already having lunch."

The pale preybeast's ears flicked foreward and back still; nervous.
"It's alright..." he said as calmly as he could, which, for anyone be very calm. His eyes sparkled with a slight distrust. Afterall, he was almost eatten before. Thoug, he did not take that into consideration when her was around three young ones.
Adults were different. Most were bloodthirsty and would go after him, so his eyes still shown in a light distrust.
He nodded, though his ears flickin with every move she made. He almost stared her down. "I'll take your word for it, for the time being..." He said sitting on his rump.
His heart was pounding in his chest, though it wasn't like he was in imediate danger. It would calm down, he hoped.

Tsuki smiled at the klipspringer, though she could sense that he wasn't ready to trust her on her words alone. Licking her lips, and finishing off the hare, she opted to talk a little to the animal... the minds of hoofed ones were very mysterious, indeed. She'd never talked to one before. Especially not one so handsome as this... his pure white coat reminded her of her own, although she herself was spotted and striped with silver.
"I'd say you've been attacked before?" she asked, not knowing if she should talk about such things, "You seem... nervous. I assure you that I will not try anything."
Maybe this wasn't enough. Still, she wanted a good chat. And there was something mysterious, something different about this beast that made her wonder.

"I have" He answered calmly. The distrust in his eyes were fading a little, but he would not fully trust her until they exchanged names.
He shifted nervously again. That is until a soft coaxing in his head calmed him down.
His fidgetting lessened and something told him that this predator would not harm him. He trusting his instict.
"What's your name, Miss...?" he asked. He was still a bit nervous, and it showed in the tensiing of hs strong leg muscles. He ignored to coaxing in his mind for a bit longer.

"Tsuki," she answered, simply, and her eyes shone mischievously, "It means Moon in a foreign language, though I'd have to ask my parents."
She puffed out her chest proudly, and pushed a forepaw to her chest.
"It suits. I'm a star-gazer... at least, that's what I dreamt to be as a pup," her eyes softened, "I wish I had stronger powers, though. I've met people with gifts. Makes me jealous."
She laughed, closing her eyes a little, and the lines in her face creased as she did. She looked quite friendly, really, and at once she opened her eyes again. They looked bigger, happier.
The young adult's curiousity took hold of her.
"What about you, mister?" she asked, with a happy, soft smile.

Gifts? He probably had a so called 'gift' but it's probably not what she ment.
He didn't falter and answered her last question. "Blancun... it means 'White One' in a foreign language as well..."
It was a bit of irony. He was white, thus his name, and his sister was black, thus her name.
"My only dream was always, and will always be, to protect my sister..." he said. He tilted his head a little with a small smile.

Tsuki looked at him inquistively, slightly smiling as she did.
"Oh?" she tilted her head, and cast him a mischievous grin, "But I'm sure you have larger dreams, too. I mean, sure... your sister is important, and that is one goal. I have a brother, myself."
She nodded, and then continued, chewing thoughtfully on her lip as she did.
"Have you thought about your future?" she asked, her eyes glittering curiously, "I could try and give you a horoscope reading, if you'd like."
She was no seer, of course, but heralded another gift... she had learnt the ways of the gazer, the astronomist - and so, she and the stars were close. She knew them well.

"My own futured..?" He asked. "I don't really have my own future. I don't think I do anyways. I put my life into my sister..."
He had a calmer smile on his face. "It's be nice though, but I don't wish really to have my on future like my sister does. I'm all she's ever known."
Though, something was telling him that he would have his own future. He didn't believe it though. His life was his sisters.

Tsuki leaned forward, and looked at the white klipspringer with curiousity. Despite common belief, it seemed that there was more to the lives of prey than met the eye... and she bit her lip thoughtfully as she pondered on the subject.
"I suppose," she said, her words leaving her tongue a little reluctantly, scared that she'd let slip something that would offend the creature, but speaking honestly, "Yet... I couldn't live my life for my brother, Zor. We're two seperate beings, Zor and I, even our Mother believes that. And Blancun," she hesitated, struggling on the words, "You... you're someone, too. It's strange for a predator to say it, but... well, I think of prey and predator as equals. They're the balance of this world. We need both. Both are as important as eachother."
Her eyes softened.
"Yin and Yang. It's the same concept. You and your sister live equal lives, and both of you deserve to live a life of your own, good sir. You both co-inside. You both co-exist as the balance of eachother. Like me and Zor, as is you and your own sibling."
She raised her head, more confidently.
"So find something, or someone, out there, for you. There's more to your future than meets the eye. I can read it in your eyes, Blancun."

Blanc tilted his head, though he did look a bit asshamed. True, he did have his own future, but he needed to make his sisters best as possible before he could make his own life almost as grand as her's was.
He looked up at the white female. "I understand that..." he said. A small guilt laced his voice. "But sometimes, I don't know. Its a strong need. All we've ever known is eachother."
He paused. "I wanted to get us into a herd so she can make friends and keep them..."
He hesitated to speak again, hoping his hesitant voice didn't betray him.
"I mean... it's not like I don't want the best for myself either..."
A sigh. "It'll take time... I'm not used to a lot of things..."

Tsuki gave Blancun a warm look.
"Ah," she said, and gave a slight nod, "It seems that you do have more emotion to you locked away in there. As I thought."
Her eyes softened.
"Make a future for yourself, Blancun. But I suppose that doesn't mean," she paused, "... that doesn't mean you shouldn't look out for your sister, as well!"
And with that, she grinned.
"How confusing the world is!"

Tsuki dipped her head.
"Anytime, Blancun," she said, her words simple, but full of meaning nethertheless, "Well, I hope your journey of life is full of promise."
Then, with a smile, she turned tail and began to wander off, not quite knowing where she would go next, and never knowing exactly what was to come.
