(( you all know the rules- ))
Rahu had gone and left to be by himself a few days after his run in with Bairn and Delano. flickign his ears back, he had been so tcked off that day he had gone to be by himself for the past few days. oh he kne Aruna was going to ahve his head the minute she saw him for not checkign up on her and the baskets. snortign to himself, he knew where to find Aruna and he was on his way there to play check up on her since he said he would be around for the foals but he was having second thoughts on the whole thing. it seemed both Aruna and him needed to talk more about the situation at hand since they hadn't talked much yet about it since he had taken off to gather his thoughts and calm himself.

How long had it been? Four days? Six? A week? And Rahu had not yet come. She had watched as Delano had returned, looking to be in a somewhat foul mood as he greeted her and then suddenly went off again, mumbling something to himself... all she had caught was that he wanted some time to think about things. She frowned as she nuzzled her baskets. "Kaine, keep an eye on them!" she practically ordered (though she never ordered her hawk familiar to do anything, but she was in a mood today). "I'm off to find the father of these poor foals."
Kaine cawed an answer to Aruna's abrupt, sharp words and kept a wary, cautious eye out as he shifted restlessly on a branch above the grove Aruna and her mate Delano had come to live in.

Rahu still had flicked back ears as he finaly passed through the trees that would lead him into the grove that Aruna was in where she lived with her mate Delano and knew it would be where to find her. and not to his surpise, there she was actualy comign his way, and not lookign too happy and seemed to be on a misson. oh he knew she was just going out to find him when now he came into the grove. after stopping when he saw her, he then went up to meet her half way and knew he was in for it.

Oh. There he was. She hesitated a moment, debating whether to yell at him or just let him see a smile before meeting the rage. Hm. She decided to go with "the calm before the storm" tactic. They met halfway just before she started her "calm". "Oh, hello, Rahu! Fancy seeing you here. I hope things haven't gone awry while you were out adventuring." She gave him a sidelong glance. The "storm" was to come soon... and it didn't matter if he gave a good excuse or not. He hadn't come to check in a long time and boy, was he going to get it.

Good. He knew she was beyond angry. Pissed beyond rage. Wrathful, basically. "Well, I won't give you that satisfaction until you tell me what you've been doing off by yourself for a few days..." she said, in a too-much-sugar-coated-tone of voice. At least he'd come back; she'd been afraid she'd have to leave her foals in order to find their stubborn father, but in the end, he'd kept his promise. This promise, she thought fiercely, was going to be kept, and she would make sure of it. She snorted at Rahu. "You know what? I'm tired of having to deal with how you like to ignore responsibilities and go off on your own, even if it is to think. At least, when you want to think about things, think about things closer to where your children are." She couldn't read minds, but she'd known Rahu for so long she could read him like an open book, and then some. (They were best friends, at least, in her mind, and she damned well knew Rahu like he knew her... well, almost. They could only get a feel for what the other was thinking anyway...)

" if i was running off and ignoring my responcablities i wouldn't be here right now and would have never came back. as i said i need to be alone to think specialy since i was still in shock from the news adn you know i tend to disapear when i need to be alone." Rahu snorted and still had his ears pinned back. he looked past Aruna and not far from them, laid 3 baskets that held his foals and because of the fact he had left so quickly for a while he had not even really seen them. " and don't worry it wont happen again and i wont break the promise." snorting again, he wasn't lookign at her, he was more so lookign at the baskets at the moment.

Aruna rolled her eyes. "Only too well do I know how you like to disappear when you "need" to be alone. Or should I say, don't want to face a problem--at least face on right away." She shrugged, noticing that Rahu was paying more attention to his foals rather than to her, but that was just as well. If he was focused on his own children it was for the best. "I don't doubt your solemn word about your promise, Rahu, I'm just getting really edgy over the fact you keep disappearing! What if your foals finally enter the real world and you're not around? It won't be fun, I promise you that."

" i wasn't gone that long." Rahu kept one eye on her and one eye on the baskets not too far. snorting softly, he let he attention on the baskets linger away back to Aruna a moment. " theres no need to be edgy and if it will make you feel better i'll stick closer by the area." leting both eyes go back to watching the baskets, he flicked his tail. " now are we do with this argument so that i can see the baskets?"

She snorted and rolled her eyes. “Fine, you win this time around.” She flicked her luxiourius long tail as she moved out of Rahu’s way to allow him to inspect the baskets. “It would make me feel better if you were closer, but you can still wander around and do what you like, so long as you’re around when the children gaze upon the world for the first time.” She was being overly dramatic, but she was a mother; she had a good excuse. And anyway, she couldn’t help switching to different moods all the time; it was really hard for her to relax, especially since she was extremely vulnerable to predators… on normal circumstances, if she was by herself, she could protect herself. But now that she had foals, it made it that much harder to protect herself and her children at the same time. That reason alone was why she felt constantly nervous if Rahu or her mate weren’t around to keep a watchful eye.

Rahu smirked a bit to himself but it didn't last long and he made his way over to the three baskets. " alright fair enough." oh he knew she wanted only what was best for the foals and that she would need help protecting the baskets if something where to happen as it was had enough to protect ones self from any danger. stopping infront of the baskets he eyed the hawk that was in the trees near the baskets. ignorign the hawk now, he sniffed at the baskets.

Aruna followed Rahu towards the baskets as she made eye contact with Kaine, who nodded and took off. Turning, she blinked when she noticed that the baskets were wiggling and shaking a bit more now. Were the foals…? She sucked in some air, not realizing she had been holding her breath. “Rahu… The foals… they’re…!” she couldn’t say it, she was too excited. The children! They were almost ready to face the world now! Trying her to hide an excited grin, she glanced at her best friend out of the corner of her eye to see what his reaction was. She hadn’t expected for the children to hatch at such a perfect time, when both parents were here…!

Rahu had noticed the wiggling of the baskets and eyed them more couriously. when Aruna spoke it made him glance at her a moment since he knew she was trying to tell him they where coming out of the baskets. moving his muzzle close to the mostly dark red basket, he didn't realize that he probably should have gotten so close.
Raum wiggling about and shifted in the basket. it was time he got out of the the basket that kept him all bundled.popign the edge of the lid up he saw a muzzle near and he bit it which caused his father to back away quickly. with that movment it caused Raum to fall out of the basket with a snort. shaking his mane, he looked at his parents with golden eyes that where clearly like his mothers.

She watched as the first basket, the darkest, mostly solid-colored one, popped open and a dark filly tumbled out, looking so much like her father it was actually a bit of a surprise. The other two baskets simultaneously (well, almost at the same time) popped open, and out from the single white spotted basket a colt that had a mixture of both his parents came, followed by his brother, who was the only one who looked like more like his mother. She grinned wide, as the youngest had bitten Rahu’s nose—probably out of curiosity—and had used his father as a means of getting out of his basket.
He shook his head slightly, having landed in a bit of a bundle of colt legs as he tried to focus his eyes. Things were slightly blurry since he’d been in the darkness of his basket for so long, but when he managed to focus, he first saw his mother, watching him with a proud gleam, then his father, who had a slightly surprised look on his face but also proud, and then he noticed his siblings. He gave his mother a smile, making him look like a bit of a goof as he did so, but his eyes, although a dark brown, were sharp and clear, just like Aruna. It was clear he was going to be quite a clever little colt as he grew.

Rahu snorted a bit from the surpise of being bitten by his son. looking at each, he did have a proud look as he now had two sons and daughter. he could see that each foal was a real mixture of them both though the filly showed more of his colorig than the others. lookign over at Aruna, he was still kind of shocked they had decided to escape from the basket jsut then. " so shall we name these three that seem to coudln't wait to bite me and get out." lookign at the son that bit his muzzle, he knew a perfic name for him.
Raum looked at both his parents and seemd to be smirking a bit now tha the was out and had gotten a bite out of his father. you could tell he was goign to be a hot head but smart also. looking now at his brother and sister, he attempted to nude at his brother.
