we have a TsuSoka thread (please people, discuss it there crying ) but this is a more general Yami no Matsuei thread. some prefer to call it Descendants of Darkness, but as the japanese name is shorter its the one i prefer to use. so by all means, discuss away!

Favorite story arc/case: Tarot and Devil's Trill... can't pick between the two
Favorite Pairing: TsuSoka (obviously), but I like others, I just can't be bothered to write them...
Anime or manga?: Manga - but only because the anime didn't really go very far into it

Favorite character (overall): hmmmm.... either Kurikara, Byakko or Hisoka... can't decide...
Favorite Shinigami: Hisoka
Favorite Shikigami: probably Tenko whee but Kurikara and Byakko are so cooooool!
Favorite story arc/case: Kyoto~ hands down heart
Favorite Pairing: TsuSoka, DUH! OTP!!!! *fangirling*
Anime or manga?: manga~ tis nice seeing them animated, but i like the depth the manga gives it.

Favorite Shinigami: Tsuzuki, for he reminds me of me at times
Favorite Shikigami: It's a tie between Tohda and Sohryu. Tohda because I am a sucker for snakes and dark people and Sohryu because I love dragons and fatherly types.
Favorite story arc/case: Tarot/King of Swords
Favorite Pairing: Muraki/Tsuzuki *hides in case of imminent mauling*
Anime or manga?: Manga, as it goes much longer than the anime...plus, it's slightly more raunchy. XD

Oh Rin is gonna maul you... I like you though, so I will try to stop her... at least you don't like Muraki/Hisoka... then I doubt there is anything I could do there... and yes, the Tarot arc was awesome... and YES~ Dark and Snakes is like... the hottest combination ever. and dragons are cool too... but not as cool as snakes

One of the reasons I support Muraki/Tsuzuki is because my parents share their birthdays. XD And quite a few people, before hearing this from me, remarked about how I was a cross of Muraki and Tsuzuki, so...yeah....
Any other reasons are ones fangirls of any specific pairing tend to make. One of them would be the overly used excuse of 'Because it is effin' HOT'.

Dark and snakes is damn hot...probably why I like a good portion of the Slytherin dorms as well. XD But that's another fandom atogether.

Go to Books/Movies/TV now - we need you there. Me and kaibaboy38 (or Kris, if you prefer) are huge Slytherin fans. It's an important part of our life.
And yeah, I'll admit, I've had my pairings that I supported for some peculiar reason, or just because it's kinda hot (like... every rival/enemy pairing I have - which is actually quite a lot).

i hate rival pairings.... i knew ishoudlve posted in the first post "say you like muraki with anyone but oriya and i kill you"... ...if you MurSoka, i would seriously attempt to find a way to murder you through the computer (oh id succeed, alright) but.... you have a somewhat almost near becoming a little bit logical reason for liking muraki and tsuzuki. and least you arent retarded enough to actually think theyre in love. because theyre not. i hate the people who pair them thinking theyre seriously in love with each other..... i still dont like you though, no offense XD

Go read her other posts, she is actually a very nice person Rin, she merely has esoteric pairing interests; it is nothing that should deter from her otherwise greatness - she published a shounen-ai book; and her Harry Potter pairings are much more peculiar... so really, MurTsu is pretty natural in comparison...

you are bothering me about this via IM right now. as i said, im a bit insane when it comes to Tsuzuki and Hisoka. when someone likes a pairing from the series involing one of them that is 100% illogical (like MurTsu) than i dont like them. if it was something like, say, Tatsumi and Tsuzuki i wouldnt HATE the person, but i WOULD question their train of thought, as that pairing only makes sense pre-series. now, while she may be perfectly sane in understanding they actually arent in love, i still dislike the fact that it is supported that they be together.
in fact, the whole concept that anyone could NOT support TsuSoka confuses me. it is the implied/intended pairing in the series! i really dislike a good portion of the YnM fandom as a lot of them are mindless idiots who pair anyone with muraki because they either say its hot or theyre just that delusional to think theyre in love.... then you get the third kind of person (Which is most common) and they are this: completely and totally insane.
this long rant brought to you by a bipolar-esque mood swing that results in the stubborness of a 5-year old clashing with the immaturity of a 2-year old! *salutes*

Aw, come on. I like her; she's a Slytherin fan, and we need more of those. She also likes evil characters with snakes, and I too love those! [advertising] ~ Join the roleplays ~ [/advertising] I suppose it's a good thing that I don't really like pairings, since I can just look at the weirdest of things and be okay with it, because it's not like I was pairing them with anyone. Odd; I don't like pairing people together in series except for a few, and yet Alex and I always try to get our characters together in roleplays.

Well, for my--LAME--defence...it said PAIRING, so I just listed the one which would take precendence over others. Kind of like how I like het now more than I like femmeslash when it used to be the opposite. Tsuzuki/Hisoka just kinda died in my eyes after the fiftieth OOC fluff fest fanfic. That, or those really stereotypical fanfics where everyone is just so freakin' two dimensional. >> I used to like Tsuzuki/Hisoka, more than I liked Muraki/Tsuzuki when I first read the manga/watched the series. But the general fandom just changed my perspective with all the crazy fangirls and bad fanfics out there and I just want to wash my hands with all of that nonsense.
I am very sorry if you don't like my tastes in YnM pairings. However, if you should base whatever friendship we would make in the future because of that, then I am not sorry of anything antagonistic that will grow from this particular thread from here on in.
But...such is the way of someone with Muraki qualities in her. ^_~
In other news, I support all YnM pairings (TsuHis, TatWat, MurOri, hell...even SayYu, for the crack of it)....I just don't have the energy to list them all. XD *is a lazy bum*
And in other other news....I just finished baking a lovely apple pie and I am eating it right now...dunno why I am typing this, just want to share.
And for all the people who haven't checked anything else I've posted yet....
I regret NOTHING.
Well....that's not technically true....I do regret this one time I cosplayed as Muraki and got red cranberry juice all over my nice white gloves...and had to buy new ones because the tains wouldn't bloody come out...

i dont base friendships off of pairing preferences, i just try not to associate with people who like pairings i dont because that avoids unnecessary debating 3nodding i dont like arguing with people, so if someone is just setting up to argue (kinda like you are now ><) i try to avoid talk to them... because i cant just SHUT UP and BUTT OUT.... i always gotta say whats on my mind and that leads to making enemies where enemies arent needed. so i just avoid people i know i would become enemies with and make it so that we are indifferent to each other instead. and then everyone is happy.
and yeah, if you have muraki qualities in you then id probably not get along with you anyway XD as funny a guy as muraki can be sometimes, im really not fond of him (probably the MAIN reason im against him being with either tsuzuki or hisoka. especially hisoka...). and i like the fluffy fics, cuz im just like that whee

Who's arguing? I prefer the term agressive negotiations myself. 3nodding I prefer working things out rather than avoiding someone because there is the possibility of making enemies. If nothing comes out of it, then nothing lost, nothing gained.
Don't mind me though. I'm known for my slightly agressively independent and brutally honest mind. 4laugh
