Not sure whether to put this off topic or where to, so Sun, if you think this better goes in the other forum, you can handle it.
As Aspies, we all have our separate hobbies and obsessions that we tend to love and... obsess over I guess you can call it sweatdrop
I'd like to hear about the different hobbies that aspies get that they love to the point they would put it over almost anything else.
My obsessions being: Video Games, Drawing, Roleplaying on the internet, Zelda video games (I grew up on Zelda. Even as a baby my mom set me down in front of the tv and played The Legend of Zelda while I watched.)

heart You beat me to it, Avey!
Yesterday I was thinking of starting a thread like this, 'cause I had never seen one....
I'll list ones throughout my childhood.
Dogs: 3-5
Pokemon: 6-9
Harry Potter: 9'12
Phantom of the Opera: Currently Well, I am also getting back into Pokemon, goodness, I missed it! ^^
But really, I obsess over different things, like the world of an RP, or RPG Videogame.... I was obsessed with the world of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals, because I had the game guide, and the world was good for RPing....
Also, I am an RP addict with two guilds for it!

I'm no longer certain about the names of all the expansions, so I could get a bit mixed up here. I got into pokemon later than my friends, and it had been out for ages, but I still had time to pretty much complete the base set. Then Jungle and Fossil came out, and I got most of them apart from the holographic versions. Then, they started spewing out expansions, and people just couldn't keep up. The makers got greedy and the art was worse. I got some selected pokemon cards from neo, and maybe the set after, but that was it.

I know that down here, the Japanese versions of the Pokemon cards were really popular, one pack cost just as much as a starter deck would. People were almost required to carry a book of the translations of each card just so they would understand when some d**k were to use it in their decks. In the tournaments the Japanese cards were illegal, but they were way too popular to pass up for anybody.

Some people bought Japanese cards here, but they replaced them with English translations the moment the English sets were released. Then the Japanese cards were carefully set aside in cotton wool. Mainly, people didn't buy the Japanese cards, even if they could understand them. They were just too expensive.
