She Who Hunts Angels

Hey people, I hope you don't mind me sharing these stories, I dunno what to class them under, spirits... Ghosts, dreams or what?
The story happened to my husband, well, is happening to both of us. He seems to be haunted by a young woman, he saw her first in the summer when we were house sitting for my parents. It was the 6/6/06 and I promise you I'm not being funny or cheeky, it was that date. Anyways, it was a raging hot night and we had al the windows open and in the middle of the middle he started to complain of nightmares but we got back to sleep. Something woke him and he said in a calm voice 'oh thank goodness, she gone' I was like 'who, what where how?!", he then replies ' there was woman sitting on the window ledge, its ok theough, she gone now'. Needless to say I was creeped out as we were staying in my childhood bedroom and I had NEVER seen anything other worldly there.
Now we travel to a couple of months ago and to another house. Hubby was working nights at a local bar and I'd stayed home and was messing about on the computer and I can hear banging on the landing and I think its his aunt's who were in the house with me. It stops and then moments later I hear this very sweet, feminine and soft voice say 'can i come in'. It spooked me but never worried me, it wasn't his aunt's, naturally there was no one there when I looked and it wasn't his aunt's who have a very local English accent where this was generic.
We've had some bad stuff happen in this room, if you want me to share, I will do just say.
Now, two night ago he sees a woman all in black, youngish, with black hair and a pale, pleasant but not attractive face, who's smiling at him and then fades away. I was not with him at the time and I swears it was the same woman from the summer.
It all seems a little odd, but I swear I'm telling you the facts as I know them.
Can anyone share any insights or ideas on what has happened, I'm open to any suggestions!

Is your husband either incredibly stoic, or clued into the paranormal in some way? If I saw a random person just sitting on my windowledge then fading away, I'd brit shickhouses. Maybe the rest of mankind's more steeled than me. :/

As with most supernatural stuff, there's a million and one things it could be - my suggestion is trying to communicate with it - both you and your husband - since it doesn't seem terrifically malevolent. Otherwise, tell'r to ******** off and quit being a creepy b***h.

[Edit]: As an aside, a year isn't a terrifically long time for a haunting, as hauntings go. Think of all those spooky haunted castles and houses and shizz, that've had weird stuff going on for centuries. >.>

Your right on that part, I've heard tales of Roman spirits and even earlier! wink

He's not very sensitive at all, he's a sceptic but a believer and this is the only weird stuff he's ever been involved in other than the other very sinister stuff that's happened in our bedroom (he had to go on anti-depressants after that and I had a nervous breakdown... People don't believe me when I tell them what happened but if anyone wants to know, I'll tell ya. sweatdrop ). That's the worrying part, I would have put it in the existing thread if I wasn't a little worried myself.

And he has been calm, unnaturally calm, in all instances. I'm willing to admit he may just be dreaming, but it is so odd non the less, for a man of 25 who is usually so grounded. But saying that, when he was a child he swears he used to dream of me (we never met till he was 21 and I was 17) and when we were dating and apart we would see the other in bed with us at the same time. I know is so cliche but I promise that's true (as we know it).

Well from what you’ve said this being doesn’t seem to be causing you or your husband any harm. But if you really want her to leave you alone you could ask/tell her to leave (it worked for my mum). But if you do this be carefully because I have heard of cases where people have been hunted and they have gotten red of the sprit only to find out that it was there to protect them from another malevolent sprit.

About you and your husband: that is really sweet it seems like you were meant to be.

it could be his spirt guild. If he doesn't want to see her, just tell him to tell his spirit to go away.

I thought the same as a friend met her spirit guild in the same way, he refused to leave her alone, to the point of showing himself when she was driving and on toilet in university. rofl Luckily he was a good sort. (many people have seen it/him, including myself)
I think I'll get in touch with my mum's old spiritualist friend as I'm not keen on meddling by myself or without help.
