Danuwa set out on a search for food. His stomach growled and their were no two leggers around to beg from. He streached his wings and continued to walk sniffing around looking for anything that might lead him to something to eat other than the blan grass that was everywhere as the snow melted away.

*Ditto*
Nitika felt boredom setting in now that her family had all but vanished. She managed to evade Istas somehow making her content from the nagging that little puffball made day in and day out. Glancing at her reflection in a semi iced over pond she smiled contently. She'd grown out of that baby fur into a sleek mare taller than her mother. Waves of rippled blue shimmered off of her coat like the ocean rolls in and out.
Deciding against a drink she walked along with an occasional stretch followed by a yawn.
A figure appeared heading toward her green as the most freshest spring grass. The color was merely intriging to the dark mare's enticed eyes. Thinking to herself that it was so much better to look upon than the patches of snow lined with hunks of mud that lie toward her hooves caking ever so slightly.

Danuwa could hear something heading his way. He stopped in his tracks and held up his head sniffing the air. His eyes opened just slightly and he tried to pick out the figure of the soquili he smelled. The light wasnt right he couldnt see the soquili ahead. Danuwa cursed his bad sight mentally before standing to wait for the other soquili to either change their path or say something. Fluttering his wings he tried to look rather bored versus curious. Though he didnt hide his sight problems like his father he didnt want to appear weak because of it either.

Nitika was always a kind soul reminding herself to always greet those whom she camer into contact with. So in her routine she uttered a friendly neigh in the form of "good morning".
Dipping her head to him she took in the spring influenced coat he wore so nicely with a sweet smile. Hopefully he wasn't in a bad temper or mood this beautiful day. Though the snow was lying about bits of grass peeked through emerald as his beautiful coat. Spring was indeed closing in and her heart leapt at the mere thought of it. Warm days and cozy night lie in wait...

Danuwa smiled at the friendly greetting now knowing it was a mare. He bowed his head lightly fluttering his wings in a more excited manner.
" Why Good Morning, little lady." Danuwa said with cheer in his voice. He moved again abit in the direction of Nitika he strained his eyes and could pick out a figure of blue. His stomach growled lightly he was still hungery but he was going to ignore it for now.

Feeling a return of warmth in his greeting she smiled pleasently swishing her long silken tail back and forth. Never let your gusrd down but always be polite was something imprinted into the mare's head long ago. Her mother was indeed wise to pass on such precious knowledge.
"Hello there" she spoke with a nodding gesture as her bright eyes sparkled, "I'm Nitika. How are you this fine morning".
Just seeing his coat reminded her so much of spring at that point. She stood there imagining how his mother must of been quite proud to bring something so beautiful into the world.

"Im thinking Im fine this morning, names Danuwa. And how are you, this morning little Lady?" Danuwa just had this habbit of calling all mare save his mother and sister little lady though he would call them by thier names is asked too.
Danuwa's eyes were dull not only due to his condistion but when compared to his coat they really were life less. Danuwa didnt give up on seeing though he picked out her shape more clearly now but still his sight was blurry. Oh he wished he could see the cheerful mare he was talking too, he knew she had a beautiful color atleast but that wasnt enough for him.
Flutting his wings abit more then normal showing the dreamcatcher like symbol on his bum. His wings covered it most of the time and for sure he didnt even know it was there but it was his father's biggest trait on him.

She pondered instantly something was amiss with the stallion of the shining spring grass, but never was she to speak openly for it was rude and inconsiderate in any case. Instead she remained smiling as any polite individual would retaining perfect disposistion and nature.
"Its a pleasure to meet you Danuwa. I'm doing quite well actually as I know spring is almost here. Mother might return home then with word from my father." she noted with an optimistic manner, "Maybe he'll come home finally with my brother."
She stood there watching him wondering what he was thinking. Sometimes her curiousity could possibly be her downfall but for now she'd still be herself.

"Oh little Lady you dont live with your father and morther together? Oh forgive me its rude to ask such a thing. See I still live around my sister,Father, and Mother. Though Id have to save escape from my father's over protectiveness is quite a blessing. I do hope he comes home its sounds like it would make you very happy." Danuwa said with a bright smile.
Danuwa blinked a few times and shifted his weight. He wondered why she hadn't said anything yet, must soquili would have already asked what was wrong with his eyes by now, not that that bothered him cause at times he was quite proud about it.

"Well" she began with a smile, "I suppose father and Chev needed to learn things together, but mother was so distraught she went off looking for them both. No word of goodbye but the silver hair bead wrapped with a strand of hair she left for her familiar Istas."
She still pondered if something was a miss about this gorgeous green winged but it wasn't something to further, for she was making converstation and gaining another friend. And that is what life is always about, for many friends and loved ones shall always keep lonliness at bay.
"Were you born in this area? I was last year around the summertime. Strange that mother is so much smaller being a flutter compared to father, Tansy and I. Do you think its odd?" she queried in her curiousity to see if he might help her pursue some peace of mind that puzzled the young winged mare.

"Well little Lady one would think you are left feelin lonely yes?" Danuwa felt bad for this mare and wished there was something he could do to make her feel better.
"Yes near this area indeed.I was born in the winter not to long ago, your older than I am it seems not that that matters other then you have more wisdom than I. And Forgive me little lady, but I do not know what a flutter is." Danuwa fluttered his wings being proud it was hard to admit not knowing something.

She frowned but did not admit she realized his fault. Only a bit of pity filled her deep thoughts yet she was more inclined to ask other questions and answer what she could if able.
"Well a flutter is umm... here let me stand next you you if you don't mind." she commented blushing a bit. But it was the only way to truly show him what she was trying to say. When in place she smiled preparing her explanation, "See mares are a little shorter than stallions but of course we're wingeds too. Now imagine a soquili half my size, not with feathery wings like ours, but with tiny weightless ones like those of the bees. Mother's is see through, meaning you can see right through them to everything else" she nodded hoping it wasn't too complex for him.
Stepping back she smiled attentively hoping she could lend a friendly wing and offer what she knew. There was so much in deed she longed to ask and understand herself. If he was willing to listen, then she was willing to teah and learn herself if he wanted.
