So since I beat my metal pad to uselessness I'm going to get a konami pad tomorrow. Do these things still suck horribly or have they been upgraded to not breaking every three months. (for a player that plays heavy only and my usual footers are 8-11)
p.s. I probably still can't wear shoes while I play can I? p.s.s I didn't see a sticky for this (with the exception of that silly "DDR QUESTIONS HURRRR) wich I doubt ever gets answerd so don't direct me to an unstickied thread or there.

The official soft pad that's bundled with all the games? Or did Konami start making other pads behind my back? >_>
Soft pads are still made of a**.

Here's one.
It's more complicated than modding a pad has to be though.

just get another metal pad, it'll save you time, money, and sudden outbursts of extreme anger when you get a pad miss that keeps you from FC"ing TLoM. If you are however EXTREMELY POOR and cannot afford a $150 pad, get a red octane ignition pad for like $100, they come with foam, that is thick, not squishy, and they will last for quite sometime, as long as you don't move it around. i was always moving mine around and taking the foam ouit so i could fold it up, and it started sucking, but if you don't do that, then you can have one of those last you quite some time.

And no way am I going to pay 600 for a flux for a game.

The new Cobalt Flux's aren't nearly as good as the old ones, and MyMyBox sold two people that I know used, returned pads.

unless you mean double sticking it all over the bottom of the pad, I've tried that. It doesn't work on carpet.

DT200: $250. Pretty much an arcade platform. If you're less into DDR than that, you can get a DT600 for $50 or a DT610 for $80. NOW STOP COMPLAININ' KTHX.
