This thread is for WNC and Mialee. The two Soquilis are Cassie and Qismah.  Mialee will post the picture of her filly when she post her rp post. The sun had already gone down in the heart of the horizon and one by one the stars began to greet the habitats of the land. Some were going to sleep.. others were just waking up. Most two leggers were already in their teepees and had left some of the stables open just in case their soquilis wanted to go out and explore... as long as they would come back at sunrise...
A blood red mare had stepped onto the wet grass which the evening dew had just settle onto. Her name was currently unknown only because she didn't live in stables very often... only her owner knew it. She shook her head with a smile to get all of the wettness of her mane out before she decided to explore. She looked around and then saw her familar yet favorite haunting spot. ".. Ahh.. The river.. the best place to relax and ponder while watching the stars..." She trotted towards the river, watching her steps ever so carefully as if the land was covered with mines.

 Qismah gazed across the open plain at the sights and sounds of the two leggers in the nearby village going to sleep. Their fires crackled to keep them warm on these cool spring nights. She herself would be awake until near dawn. She normally slept in the early hours, when nothing muchr eally happened in the day. She foudn the afternoon and the night time to be the most active and interesting time of day. The sun had set in its colors of pretty pinks oranges and purples and the fluffy clouds had since left, leaving a clear, dark night sky, filled with millions of sparkling stars and the low hanging moon which illuminated the inky darkness.
Qismah relaxed a bit from the day's excitement, listening to the cool rushing water. This was one of her favorite things to do as she bathed in the moonlight. She was an odd coloration of black, white and some light shades of grey in between the blending colors.

When Cassie looked up from making sure she wasn't hurting herself while trotting, she sees another mare with long mane and tail. She slowed to a stop by a tree to see if the mare was a friend or foe. She flicks her ears back and forth, to keep a ear out for anything out of the usual.
She felt safe enough to come out from her hiding spot after a few minutes for some reason. She quietly says with a smile, not wanting to spook the mare. "Hello."

Qismah's ears flickered back as she heard light hoofbeats. Perhaps another was approaching? It was then a soft voice greetesd her and she turned her head to see a lovely red mare standing there, smiling at her. Qismah smiled back and rose from her laying position. "Well hello back. What brings you out this fine evening? " She looked the mare over and they were about the same age, both young mares. This one had a lovely red coat with black socks, A white black blending into a black muzzle with a curly black mane and tail, the oddest purple markings on her black back and neck, but she also had stunning cyan eyes. They certainly stood out and were quite the attention grabber. "Might I compliment your eyes! they certainly are quite lovely. My name is Qismah. May I inquire as to your name?"

Cassie smiled when she was greeted by the mare and then gently replies with a small blush. "Thank you for the kind compliment, Miss Qismah. My full name is Cassandra but everyone calls me Cassie. I hope I wasnt disturbing you." She smiled again before looking at the moon. "You were moonbathing.. weren't you? I usually come out only at night since I like to watch the stars and tell them my wishes and dreams.. In a way, you could call me a stardreamer."

Qismah giggled at the mare's over-politeness. "Oh please jsut call me Qismah. Miss makes me sound so old and I am jsut barely grown into adulthood." She chuckled and grinned at Cassie. "Ah Cassie, a lovely name. I rather like it. It matches those pretty eyes. I bet you could have stallions falling all over you just by batting your lashes. Eyes such as those are a gift, jewels from the heavens I would think." She moved forward, closer to let Cassie have a better look at her. She was curious herself about the soft spoken blood mare. "ohhhh no not disturbing. I rather like having company actually. I was just gazing at the stars myself. hmmmm a stardreamer eh? Tell me what is it you dream of or wish for?" Qismah was rather enjoying this meeting so far and found the mare quite interesting.

With a gentle girlish giggle, she looks at the mare then replied ever so softly. "Thank you. You are too kind with your compliments. I only wish stallions would say that about me. I rarely get compliments from them. I think the stripes on my back drive them off before I even get a chance to talk to them and get to know them." She sighs and then thought to herself, "Is she gonna run away like all other soquili do? What did my mother see in my father that brought them so close once." She shook her head to get the thoughts out quickly before looking at the mare, seeing that she got closer and smiled. She loved the colors on her body. "Qismah, I love the way your colors blend together. I wish my colors did that.. my best features that I find are my mane, tail and my eyes.. I dispise my stripes.." She sighs but she came to find that she was actually enjoying herself and the conversation between the her and Qismah.

Qismah nodded and listenef to the mare's soft voice. "Why would they run form your stripes? They are quite lovely markings. I would think you'd have stallions falling at your feet with such colors and markings. Perhaps we need to find a handsome stargazing stallion for you?" Qismah winked at her, teasing a bit but also serious. A lovely mare like Cassie not having any stallions courting her? Something was wrong with that. She was a lovely mare indeed with a kind personality. Every stallions dream! "Oh well thank you. It is an interesting blend isn't it? I can't hide in the snow nor the night! I have too much of both black and white! " She giggled. She liked this mare and it was nice to have a female friend for once. Qismah frowned at Cassie's last sentence. "Pish posh! "She scolded slightly. "there is nothing wrong with those stripes. You have colors lovlier then my own. Take pride in them. I envy such a colorful pattern. I'm just plain ol' black and white and shades of grey blended in." She grinned and tossed her head. She secretly wondered to herself what made this mare so hard on herself though?

Cassie giggled softly at Qismah's words before looking at her with a small smile. "You really are too kind with your words, Qismah." She then blushed at the question and looks at her once again. "I think your colors are gorgeous. Why would you want to hide?" She then thought to herself, ".. Was she really serious in finding me a stallion? I am not that perfect or gorgeous." She blinked to focus once again, listening to the fellow mare. "You think my stripes are pretty? I don't know why I can't find stallions to be friends with or even try to find out if I am compatiable with them.." She sighs with a frown looking at her sides where her stripes are. "I still think they don't like them... I much rather to find a stallion that wouldn't care how I look as long as he loves me for who I am and what I love to do.. dream of the stars." She looked at Qismah with a soft sad smile.

Qismah laughed. "Oh just to be able to sneak up on my brother and scare him perhaps. Its so hard to do! He always sees me" Qismah felt strangely playful now, enjoying her new friends company. She moved closer and grabbed at a piece of Cassie's mane, attempting to fling it in the air. "Oh yes they are pretty. Ohhh well you should stick with me then. I bet I could round up a few for you to meet and talk to. I'm not exactly the shy type....brother and dad always said I was the social one of the family" She grinned and meant it. She would do her best to help this lvoely mare find a sweet, wonderful stallion. "Qismah gave a more serious look to the saddened amre, "Well of course! thats what love has to be based on. Don't you worry, we'll find a stallion just like that for ya. And what better time then now! heck if he's gotta be a star gazer and dreamer he'd be out and about right now!!" She grinned and tugged Cassie's mane. "Come on now"

Cassie was caught offguard bigtime by her words and squeals when Qismah flicks her tail up in the air. She then began to think to herself once again, ".. OOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKK.... Is she really nice.. or out of her mind?.. or even so hyper that bounds to drive her family nuts?" She chuckles softly when she looked at the mare before neighing loudly at the yank of her tail. "Ok! Ok! Ok! I'm coming!" She giggles and trotted up to her, wondering just what the mare has in store for her. "I don't know what you got in mind.. but.. let's go." She was sorta afraid of what they may find in the darkness.....

Qismah chuckled at the soft spoken mare. "Nothing more then a night watching the stars as we wander looking for stallions also out and stargazing." She grinned at Cassie. "Can't meet a stallion standing all alone in one place now can you?" Qismah wasn't sure who or what they'd find but it'd be fun trying either way. An unknown adventure in the dark with the stars lighting their path. It was so exciting she shivered with anxiousness. "hmm well lets jsut go this way and see who we bump into?" And with that Qismah started off in a random direction.

It seemed that the stars were not the only things that lit the sky that night. Well, that wasn't exactly true, for the individual in question was 'perched' precariously over a cliff face with his eyes cast down upon the shores below. Nevertheless, regardless of whatever pose he held, the glowing aura, that unique quality possessed by his wings continued to emit a dull light.
It was a wonder he could sleep at all, perhaps he had grown used to it but others may find the constant glimmer to be a little on the wearing side - he for one, refrained to comment on his own appearance for fear of getting into a rather uncomfortable situation.
Regardless, he did not look down upon the shores due to suicidal intentions but moreso because of what he could see. Granted, the stars above his head were a truly beautiful sight, but the reflections they cast down upon the ocean was something entirely different...almost magical.

Cassie blushed and giggled nervously as she began to follow before looking up to see a stallion. She gasped and quickly hides behind her friend. "... Don't make it obivious.. but look near the ocean... it's... it's a pheonix! I.... you think.. I.. you think I shou.. sh.. " She tried to stutter out the words but no prevail. She gulped as she stood there as if the wind couldn't budge even if it was hurricane force winds.

Qismah was suddenly very confused with the blood colored mare now hiding behind her like a shield and and stuttering something about a phoenix or something? "huh what? Cassie what on earth are you jibbering about?" Qismah looked at her with those curious brown eyes of hers, before following Cassie's gaze to see just what she was so frightened of.
It was impossible to miss him. He glimmered as he stood on the cliff a ways away. Well it was a stallion of some sort. Soquili? Celetial being? She didn't know but she sure as hell was going to find out! Qismah grinned. Finally, an adventure with something exciting happening.
"Welllll Cassie, looks like we have some company. Lets go say hi. Come on now don't be rude. " Qismah couldn't wipe the grin off her face. She was just too intruiged by this new soquili being and there was no way she was going to miss out on checking this intruiging stallion out. After all, it was supposed to be a fun adventure. And witht hat thought in mind she moved forward at a trot, heading towards the cliff.
