"Tarsals. Metatarsals... phalanges." Mange quietly spoke to himself, curling his toes as he stared at them, wiggling them curiously as his ears sunk back against his skull. "Flexion..." A pause. "... plantar flexion, dorsiflexion..." He raised his foot and then pressed it forward, toes extended in the previous name he had stated, and then brought back to point towards him, testing out the muscles in it.
He'd been at it for quite a while, the doll beside him forgotten for the time being... he hadn't gotten a replacement after the run in with Mjedan. She and Rune hadn't left a good impression on each other, but... he was inspired.
Learning the muscles and bones of certain things... he'd have better control over others, and what aspect of the body to have the shadow pull on once they overtook something. Dolls weren't that much different than the anatomy of humans... after all, humans transpired to make objects most like them.
Selfish bastards.
"Medial rotation of the flexed knee..." Mange slid his knee inward, turning his body to spring off of the ground and do a backflip, landing with both knees outward, and on all fours. "Lateral rotation..." He jumped again, testing the boundaries of his own body and what it was capable of, landing again and staring at his doll, ears perking forward for a moment. "... mmm. Different reactions, different endings..." Turning and sitting, Mange let out a sigh.
"One can pivot as such... ball and socket joint, turning on the knee... a sharp movement can decide the battle in one point... but it's quite another to have strength on your side." He knew all too well with Aisha; he hadn't seen her often as of late, but she was always rather kooky. And strong.
He had a begrudging respect for Rune, however, though most often times the red Jivvin annoyed him... he knew Rune wanted the best for him, but he wanted to find out things for himself. He wanted to learn things firsthand.
"Lateral flexion can also be used for dodging a blow... but illusions have nothing to do with bones or muscles or movements." He let out another aggravated sigh, curling up on the ground as he nosed his doll gently, eyes dull as Mange just simply stared.
"... maybe I need to find someone else..."
