Hmm, I know Wishel has small BJDs that are about 10cm and they're only $100. The nest cheapest that I know of is DollZone, they have 41.5-46cm dolls for $200.

Mythdoll.com and Bobobie.com sell 45cm dolls that are just a little bit over $100. Bobobie even sells a 60cm doll for less than $200. The only problem I can see with the bobobie dolls is that they're pretty c**k-eyed which makes them look weird, but you could probably fix that. XD

It's just the placement of the eyeballs inside of the eyesockets that bothers me, not the shape of the eye sockets themselves. n_n;

If her mom is willing to budge an extra hundred theres a new company called Abio Angel that sells dolls for 200 that are 60 cm and just as lovely as Luts. The problem is they don't have a site yet and you have to buy through someone in Taiwan sweatdrop
