I got into the VU because my sister had their music laying around, and one day I was like "you know what, lets see how they are"
and I loved them, right from Sunday Morning to European Son <33

Well, I was watching something on VH1 and they mentioned the Velvet Underground and also mentioned a violist. So I was like "Hoshit gotta look into that." Then I kind of forgot about it for a while then went to the library, where they just happened to have VU & Nico :O So I checked it out and the rest is history! smile

That isnt fair................................I got into them from a combination of my father, and books on the time period. If you havent, go read "Please Kill Me: The Oral History Of Punk Rock" it doesnt have that much on the VU, but it does have a bit. Plus, its just a kick-a** book.

I don't like reading about Punk Rock, honestly I'd much rather listen to it >.<;
but maybe I'll check it out.
I dunno, for some reason, I don't like to read about music.
I think theres too many opinions involved.

I downloaded a bootleg of the Unicorns singing I'm Sticking with You and it was v. cute so I picked up VU and it was luuuvv.
