They say that a infants and small children we can see the Fae and other mystical creatures and that as we grow older we are told that they do not exist and are only in our imaginations.
I myself am a firm believer. From the ones who guide me to the nasty spirit that lives in my hallway.
There are many beings that exist but are not acknowledged, there are good and bad. If you ask for their help be careful and make sure you ask the right one.

It's... Possible. Myself, I believe, but as there is not enough evidence I cannot, as of yet say "yes, myths are true".
I believe it is more plausable than the claims of the current 'reality'.

I believe they are real and among us. There are those that would say prove they do, to them I say prove they don't.

I believe they are very real and if they wanted their lives to be proven to the world around them then they would let it happen. But anyone can choose to let them help in their lives.... you just have to open yourself to it.

I agree, it's just a matter of letting them into your life and seeing them with your inner self.
(I haven't really looked at my fae oracle since the soul stealer came up and my aunt passed a few days later. I shall pick them up again soon tho 3nodding I miss them.)

It's nice to believe they're real, but be specific. Who knows, you may talk your way into proof.

Talk does not equal proof. Talk equals unbiased theory and philosophy. Talk can only hope to bring logical fallacies. Mythological beings may have existed at one time, but I sincerely doubt they do now, unless they've withdrawn deep into the earth where we shall never hope to find them. I believe in spirits, but they are hardly mythological creatures. As for fairies, leprechauns, unicorns, minotaurs, satyrs, nymphs, goblins, gremlins, trolls, elves, dwarves, dragons, and anything else of the like, I'm afraid we have long since lost place for them, save for in fantasy writings.

When I said 'talk your way into proof' I mean saying everything you know on the subject and the things related to what you said. You are bound to learn something new and who knows, maybe even find a link that proves the question surrounding the subject you talked about. Heh, maybe I should have been clearer.

It is my belief that they did and still do exist in our world just on a different plane that we have closed our minds to. I cannot provide "proof" other than what I have experienced in my own life.

Still, one would think that if these legendary creatures had in fact existed at one point or another, that someone would have discovered some bit of evidence. I'd love to think that dragons had existed, but where are the bones? Teeth? Things fashioned from them at least, if there were indeed dragon slayers. I can understand a lack of proof for things like fairies, because they are so small and magical at that, but it'd be hard to hide something as big and powerful as a dragon.

I watched a show on Discovery about a year ago that tried to prove that dragons did indeed exist. From what I can remember though there was a dinosaur that was much like a dragon sweatdrop I'll have to see if I can find a link for it. I believe that at a time there was a creature similar to a dragon existing in this world but that there could be no explanation for such a being that the ancients took it and made it something not to be acknowledged for it could not be explained....I'm trying to rush thru this so I'll try to be more literate and clearer next time I'm on (little one demanding attention) sweatdrop
