Jynelle wriggled in the bushes looking for something. Every now and again she would peek her head out of the leaves to check that she wasn't alone on the street. Being a Dryad, it wasn't hard for the little creature to remain hidden in the garden. Just in case she should was spotted a tall figure stood in front of her casting a luminous shadow over the garden.
Mercutio took another drag from his cigarette, watching people pass by him. A few of them had given him strange looks, but he paid no attention. He glanced over his shoulder to the little body behind him for a split second to make sure Jynelle was still searching. "You must be more careful, Nelle. Are you sure you haven't left it somewhere else?" He asked softly. Receiving a head-shake in response he flicked the ash off the end of his cigarette.

Hyde was walking along the path, his hands full with carrying a stat folder for Oubliette Clinic which held notes of the Labyrinth pets and their owners. Balancing on the folder was two grocery bags, full of food and other strange things Chai had requested. The Elf was currently trying to balance as he passed a man, talking to a bush.
He looked to the side to stare at the bush but bumped into some very rude person, he fell the folder and contents scattering as the bags toppled from his grip. The apples and lollipops went rolling across the path as Hyde landed on his back. The ruby-haired Clinic Assitant let out a little groan and rubbed his back, which hurt from the impact of the fall.

Mercutio let out a small grin when the elf fell to the ground. He didn't want to offend him so he was sure not to chuckle. "Want a hand?" The werewolf asked holding his hand out to the guy on the ground. He quickly gave a signal to Jynelle in the bush with his other hand. "Did look like a very pleasant fall, are you alright?" He asked noticing Hyde rubbing his back.
Jynelle had seen the whole thing and had stuck her head out to investigate. Seeing Mercutio's signal, the undera giggled childishly before returning to her search. A few seconds later she gave an excited chirp, having finally found the yo-yo she'd borrowed off Raeli.

"i'm fine thank you" Hyde said, accepting Mercutio's help as he stood up. He stared down at the busted folder and scattered pet files in dismay. It had taken him two whole hours to file it all properly and even longer to organise and print off. He bent down, noting the Undera in the bush.
"ah that is Jynelle, owner by one Mercutio Jaklyn, Undera Stage" he commented, slipping all the papers into one of the grocery bags, which had fallen to the ground and not slipped there contents at all.

Mercutio raised his eyebrow at the elf before glancing at Jynelle for a split second. "Just who are you to know this?" He asked dropping his cigarette and putting it out with his shoe. He ran his hand back through his hair as he watched Hyde cleaning up the papers.
Jynelle giggled again and sat on the garden edging, watching the elf with great interest.

"oh, I uhm...I work for Jareth" Hyde answered, he hadn't meant to spill all that out, it had just kind of...happened. He sheepishly gathered his bags again, and checked his pager, to see about 20 left messages from Chai. He sighed and rolled his eyes slightly, his boss was so weird sometimes.
He walked towards Jynelle and studied her.
"well aren't you a pretty one" he said softly, smiling.

"Ah. Of coarse you do." Mercutio said rolling his eyes at himself. He couldn't help but smile when the elf complemented Jynelle, it was something about Jenelle's expression that seemed to melt him.
"Isn't she just?" He said when the undera shy-ed behind his hand and peered at Hyde past Mercutio's arm. "Such a quick learner too. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up being the most intelligent person I knew." The werewolf said before directing his attention back to the elf before him.

"Mooney! where are my pocky!!" came an annoyed call and Hyde sighed in exasperation, Chai had come looking for him. Not good. He turned to watch the gothic-looking doctor storming hurriedly up the path, a rabbit plushie held in his hand as he advanced.
"eh~ sorry Doctor I got a little side-tracked someone knocked me over and didnt help me pick up anything, this man did though, he's 'one of them'" Hyde said, directing a hand towards Mercutio. Chai stopped and grinned at Mercutio, before he turned his attention to Jynelle, who was behind the werewolf.
"ah pet no. I8JYM, you're looking exceptionally well..yes indeed...and such an intelligent looking set of eyes." he commented, crouching down to look at the Undera more closely. Hyde chuckled, his boss was only serious when it came to his work.

Mercutio nodded a greeting to Chai with a slightly blank expression. He wasn't sure how exactly he was supposed react to meeting these people.
Jynelle giggled and looked up at the strange looking doctor with a cheeky smile. She didn't quite understand all the word Chai had used, but managed to grasp the gist of it. "Jynelle's eyes are intelligent?" She asked flicking her attention to each of the others for conformation or and explanation.

Chai nodded.
"of coarse you are darlin' all bright and alert" he answered happily, petting the Undera on the head. He stood up and dusted his lab coat off. Making sure his oubliette ID was still in place.
"Hyde you'll need to go buy a new set of folders for me, seeing as this one bust" Chai said, studying the tattered folder and its bent coils. Hyde nodded and giving Chai the bags, dumped the folder in a nearby bin and went off.
"well it's good to see Jareth sent out I8JYM to a good owner, my work is cut down alot with her now"

"I8JYM?" Mercutio repeated with a bit of a frown. He had no idea how this 'doctor' almost instantly knew who Jynelle was just from looking at her. "Work? Er, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you do for Jareth?" He asked feeling a little left in the dark about the whole thing. He looked back at Jynelle again, who was now clinging to his arm tightly, still watching Chai with a soft smile.

"Doctor Tu Chai, head of Oubliette Clinic for Underground pets, I specialise in Coursier and Courtesan specialist, Head of Breedings Surveyment" he answered, looking soberly at Mercutio.
"18JYM is Jynelle's database code, it's easier to remember than each name individually" Chai shifted his rabbit plushie to his other hand as he took a pocky from out of his lab coat breast pocket and started eating it.

"That makes more sense now." Mercutio said nodding once before dragging a cigarette out of his pocket and lighting it. He leaned back on a bench that was behind him and examined the odd doctor. "You know, at first glance I wouldn't have picked you as being a Doctor." he commented before taking another puff.
Jynelle twirled around on the spot and dove back into the bush she'd been searching in not long ago. For some reason she liked the smell of these plants more than most of the others, that's why she knew to look here first for the yo-yo.

"yeah I get told that alot, Sho is more doctor-like than me" Chai commented with a laugh, he sat himself next to Mercutio and looked around. He brushed his long black bangs out of his eyes and re-adjusted his glasses as Hyde came walking back, carrying a new white folder.
"here you are Doctor, the new folder" he said, rather breathlessly, as he had hurried to get it. Chai took the folder and slipped the files into it.
"the clinic isn't open yet, but you're on my list so expect an appointment soonish"

"Sure." Mercutio replied watching Hyde. He guest that Hyde must be an assistant or something if Chai had him running around like that. "I'm guessing there are a fair few 'Underground pets' around then?" He asked glancing at the new folder with all the pages in it.
