Atheial breathed a sigh of relief as the roof came into view. He didn't know how long he'd been running for, how far he'd gotten, or if that building was even remotely safe, but the chance to get inside and out of the cold was too much to pass up.

How long had he been ******** narrowly escaping the Hilltop Center, getting seperated from his only companion, and looting what he could from the the town's local burger joint "Happy Burger," the wary incubus ran. Ran as fast as he could, away from the town. Ran to the only place that hopefully wouldn't be crawling with these... blood thirtsy things. Ran to the woods and, by some manner of coincidence, this 'house.'

How long had he been here?

He'd slept three... or was it four... times since he'd arrived in this place, and all he wanted to do now was to pass out. For the past (what he guessed to be) a day and a half, he'd been running on sugar and kept awake with a throbbing headache, and was in dire need of sleep. Now he was one 20ft wall away from lockable and baricade-able doors.

"s**t, s**t, s**t!"

The only gateway he'd found seemed to be chained and padlocked on the other side. Luckily that meant that the house was probably safe as no one in there right mind would lock themselves in with monsters. Unfortunately, getting in would be just as difficult for him. He could explore and try to find another entrance, but circling the house would be pointless if this door was the only way in, especially since he didn't want to waste his energy climbing the surrounding chainlinked fences if that was the only door.

Atheial groaned, how the hell was he getting in there? He could shout... and that locked door proved there was somebody inside, however, it didn't prove if said person was still alive. If he shouted and there was no one... then it would only attract unwanted attention, and he was in no condition to flee from anything faster then a tree.

His hand slid down to his beltloop and retrieved the crowbar he'd left hanging there earlier. "Now or never," he muttered as he gripped the iron bar tightly. Maybe if he could make a small hole, big enough to slip his hand though, he could break whatever it was that was sealing the door. With whatever was left of his strength, he took a swing at the door, then another, and another, before collapsing to his knees.

"Please... let me in," He muttered as he rested his head against the door. "Please."

s**t. It seemed that someone -or something- was outside. Arsen had apparently nodded off after making sure he was secure inside the house. Although he'd only be there for a short time, better safe than dead. The Southern Native had to remind himself just who's fault it was that he was trapped in a house, seeking shelter from monsters that could be from a horror movie. Except they smelled a lot more. The palm of his hand made contact with his eye to get rub out the sleep that still clung to him. It was immediatly after he got rid of it that he realized what had gotten him up in the first place.

He sprinted to the door with his gun already out. If it was a monster (or worse, a hoard of them), then he'd have to be ready. Putting the weapon in his dominant hand, he reached for the doorknob before pulling it back as if he'd been shocked. If it was a monster, then he was willingly letting it in. And that'd be idiotic. But if it was someone in trouble, and he didn't let them in... That could end up worse. His conscience was virtually gone because of his occupation. He could, in theory, just leave whatever it was out there. Better than risking it. It was after that thought that he heard the incubus's ********. Let 'im in! Let 'im in! A voice screamed in the back of his mind. That was enough persuation for him. Arsen tugged out the enormous board that had been holding the door securely in place. Tossing it aside as if it was garbage, the man unlocked the door. If it turned out to be a monster that could talk... He'd be totally screwed. Opening the door slightly to make sure that it wasn't one of the damned demons, Arsen looked down at Atheial. Not a monster, as far as he could tell. Even if the pointy ears were out of the ordinary. "Get in heare! Hurry, or Ah'm closin' the door."

Thank God.

He'd been saved. Saved by what looked to be a... boy? When the door opened, Atheial did hear a voice shouting at him to get in... but at the time he'd been more focused on getting inside to safety. Now that he was in the safety of this aged, dust-riddeled house, he couldn't help but wonder as he stared up at the feminine physique of his savior. If it was a 'he', Atheial could finally, hopefully, get laid... If it was a 'she' he'd have to live with the embarassment of being saved by a chick... again. Hopefully it was a guy.

Tatriana was right, he was a 'sex-driven male.' How could he be thinking of that at a time like this?

He forced himself to rise to his feet, wavering slightly from his overwhelming exhaustion. His amber eyes scanned the room, stopping a few times to check out Arsen. It had to be a guy, he didn't have any tits... but maybe it was a flatchested chick? ********. Well at least it wasn't a monster, he was too tired to fight or flee. Had he rushed into some clever monsters trap, he'd have been killed. He couldn't even concentrate on his surroundings... maybe he was too tired to think of anythign else? That had to be it. He wasn't that pathetic... was he? If he could just get Arsen to speak again, he could think about something else...

"So tell me blondy, you got any food around here?"

'Please don't be a chick, please don't be a chick...'

Arsen stood with his hands on his hips, looking at the other man with a look of slight confusion and relief mixed into one. What was it about him that seemed odd? Having not had a good rest in a long while (thought the short sleep had helped), his mind wasn't as fast as it should have been. It took him a few moments before he realized it was the man's odd ears. Even after getting it through to himself, the ears still did not bother him much. Most likely because of the enormous change of scenery that had already been imposed on him.

So, this was the guy he'd saved. It was just lucky that he was a relatively light sleeper -had he slept through Atheial's 'visit', who knows what would have happened. Something might have been broken. Meaning that he would have to find a new temporary hideaway before the monsters found him again. This one had worked well thus far. But again, he'd have to find a new one as soon as the expiration date on the Wish House passed by.

The last thing on his mind at that moment was sex. Especially with this guy.

"Yeah, Ah do. But the real question is: Is any of it for you."

He was kidding, of course, but it was incredibly hard to tell, considering his expression didn't change at all as he spoke.
