As title suggests, post your favorite books.
Recently, I've loved the Hyperion series, by Dan Simmons.
-Hyperion -Fall of Hyperion -Endymion -Rise of Endymion
I've read the first two. My friend recently bought the last two, and once he finished Endymion, he's gonna lend it to me so I can read. Fall of Hyperion was an awesome book though. Really creative, original, and lots of refrences to stuff.

I have about three bajillion favorite books.
Right now, though, I'm really into Augusten Burroughs. He wrote Running With Scissors, which is a movie now. The book is a HELL of a lot better.
I love Ayn Rand, especially Anthem.
Spoon River Anthology is also really good, but I can't remember who wrote it.
Doot doot I could go on forever.

The book almost always seems to turn out better than the movie. For example: ~Hannibal Series
~Blood and Chocolate
~Lord of the Rings Trilogy

The Harry Potter series got me to start reading back in 6th grade (I just graduated in May). It is my favorite series of books.
I am currently reading a book called Liars and Thieves by Stephen Coonts which is really good so far.

House of Leaves. I can only remember the authors last name, danielewski. it will blow your mind out your a**. its kinda really huge, but its worth it if you can get through it. Also, The Regulators and Desperation, both by Stephen King.

Mmm! Life of Pi by Yann Martel is amazing! Also, Joey Comeau is a terrific writer. Not famous or anything. His Comic I just ordered his book, Lockpick Pornography. Looks good, I'm so excited.
