lol yeah that would be cool.
There is a hack though for the original came if you get a game shark CD you can cheat the came to let you play as Sephiroth with all his hitpoints and skills and everything.

Ehh....I'm a bit iffy on that. It'd probably come out positive for the rabid fans....but for others, it'll probably be bashed. I like Sephiroth and all...but I don't see how and why he should have his own game. His story is already finished. Bringing him back to life would just be for the sake of fans.

I agree with Twindream. It would completely ruin the feeling he created as an antagonist in FF7 and Advent Children. As much as I completely worship and admire Sephiroth, I would not want a game made for him.
He's too precious to me.

Anyways, no, one with Sephiroth wouldn't be appealing to me.. I'm sure that a lot of people would actually love that. However, Sephiroth is over-rated as much as it is... and what is all the hype about? "He's the best FF villian evarz!!!"
This I disagree with strongly.
Hell, I think that Kuja was even a better villian than him, byfar.
Ultimecia, too. (She was HARD to beat...)
Also, what would the storyline even be? ^^;
Though I must admit,
being a 'villian' would be kind of interesting.
Haha, I'd rather play as Rufus rather than Seph to be honest.
Because, he's way better!<3

I'd have to agree with you there. I think the fact that there ARE so many fans of Sephiroth, they would gear the game more towards him, rather than a story which would make sense. The only way a game about Sephiroth would work, is if it were about his past leading up to the Jenova events. Throw in cameo's of Zack, Hojo, Cloud some of the turks as well. But over all, I don't think they should. A graphic novel, or just a novel in general would work though, I think! 3nodding

I agree, too. I don't think it would turn out very good.
Okay, it would be cool to run around with him and slice monsters and other things, but when it comes to the story part, I think it could get pretty... crazy(?).
If they would make such a game, though, it's as steam punk rhapsody says: It should take place before the game.
Personally, I'm completely satisfied with him as the villain, though. 3nodding
