Ok, this really isn't about something in the guild, but hopefully you won't mind. sweatdrop
Hopefully my noob-ness won't show too badly, lol. Anyway, I was wondering what you did with salvage in the game. I've seen a couple people doing broadcasts trying to sell some off (one was for halloween salvage, which I can only imagine is like the event items on Gaia). Is there a shop somewhere to sell it, or do you just collect it for some reason?

Ok, Salvage is an item that is used in the SG. The SG members collect it, and hopefully, the Super Group has a base that uses it. Most of the time, they have a Salvage storage in the base where the members drop it off, and then the higher members use it to create base items at the appropriate table. Most of the time, its made to create secret items for the Super Group Base, it came out when City of Villians did, and isn't really of any use of a owner who only has City of Heroes, as far as I know, you only sell it to other players...I hope I help ^^

Salvage can also be used to make temporary power ups for your toon like increseing perception a little(lets you see stealthy foes), make you resistant to knockback and other effects or even increse movement speed. Usually the buffs last for half an hour as far as I know. Haven't used them much. You have to have a empowerment table in the supergroup base to be able to get these.

Ya, forgot about that...I never really used it myself...need to do that perception one though for Siren's Call. Thanks for your input Takrin.

And new to i9: Invention salvage.
This is used to make inventions. Normally these are enhancements that you pop into your powers, but there are a few costume pieces. Okay, a couple of cool-looking wings, a few garbage ones, and three sets of boots. Kinda cool.
But anyway. You need an invention table (either at the university, your sg base, or something to that effect. You can also use the Field Crafter accolade to summon one to you, no matter where you are. And a bonus: others can use your table! I used some level 50 guy's table yesterday to create a damage thing. Kinda cool.

Ok this may be one heck of a dumb question but those base salvages is there a way to make them or get them more commonly because i have more oranges and yellows then white base salv

Base salvages drop like any other salvage but you can also make it out of invention salvage at work tables. I think it under a tab called "Convert".
I think this should answer your question.

I don't particularly have any certain questions, but I need some help.
Ive been having difficulty with communication. It would appear that party members cannot contact one another from different islands etc. Is this true?
Plus, are there any emotes to this game? Been trying the basics, ya know clap and dance, and I haven't gotten anything.
And you can keep your characters from your trial account for your paid account yes?

But if you are on a team you should be able to talk to others on you team using team chat. But if you have a paying account and are trying to talk to a hero and you are a villain or vice versa you both need to have allow enemy private chat enabled in you options.
2.Then in you chat tab part that you type into there is a little bubble to the right on the bottom. Click that and it should give you the basic emotes aviable. There are a few emotes not listed if you'd like I can make a list for you if you want them.
3. You should be able to change the trial account into a normal paid account by going to your PlayNC account. I think, never had to do that myself.
If anything needs to be made more clear just ask please.

No, I think it was explained to me pretty well, I think I picked the wrong server, Protector is zeta empty, and villains aren't all what there cracked up to be in my opinion. So I choose to start over in the freedom server, since its more populated and as a Hero. But I wanted to keep my level 10 villain in the protector server just in case it was like there are only high level villains now, I just wanted to know if it was possible to keep my characters. But thank you for your help.
