Unknown to as if there is a thread to this band already, but I had to post a thread to one of my favorite sins- Cold.

My name's Matthew and I've been listening to Cold for about 9 years now, going on 10. I was just a little kid when their music influenced my life.
I'm 16 now, and even though I can't help much, I'm a valiant soldier of the Cold army. My life through grade school has been a living hell, going from day to day being attacked for how I looked and being disgraced by everyone for the way I was.
I wasn't a psycho or anything, I was just the average kid, but I had a bad last name that contributed to most of it, and I was big.

Anyway, lets get to the point.

My friend Zach (he's 22 now) got me into the music when he was young (around 14-15 range), and Cold's been my favorite band for 9 years.
I don't listen to the band as much as I listen to Scooter's voice. No offense to the band or anything, cause they're awesome, but his voice is the best voice of all the bands i've ever heard.
When the band broke up, it literally broke my heart, but when I knew about this new band, I was obliged to find "When November Ends" (Scooter's new band)
I'm actually going to get a tattoo of the cold spider with camo fatigues on it for the back of my left shoulder. To eternally symbolize what Scooter and Cold have done for my life, and for that, I thank them so much.
I've never been to one of Cold's shows for the fact that they're usually never near me, and I have tons of roadblocks to go through in my life in order to go to one. Scooter's my idol.

Any comments? If you don't know who they are, look them up on Pure Volume, it's well worth it.

Scooter's got a way to unbelievably woo the crowd in a way that no other band does. Sure, his music's slow, but it's hypnotic in a way. Cold can get you amped up to no end even if it's a slow song.

Their new album tanked only because of the fact that no one liked the more deep and emotional songs like "Different kind of Pain". It's a shame.
