Before you lies a wide, grassy land that needs only to be described as rural. The sun shone down in a pleasant spring-time manner, with one or two clouds dotting the sky like bits of cotton. The area is covered in tall emerald grasses long ago left untamed. The valley curves down into a small bowl, where at the center stands an abandoned little house and shed covered with green growth and climbing flowers. The bits of wood still visible around the dominating green were bleached white by years in the sun, as was a splintered rocking chair that had been abandoned with its home. The chair sat ever still in a small patch of newer, softer grasses where the ground must have been cleared when the little home was still in use. A few yards in front of the house was a crumbling well with the bucket and rope missing, several disintegrating bricks lying around it. Surrounding the shallow valley was only more grasslands and a few clumps of assorted trees and flowers, and in the far distance purple mountains seemed to be painted onto the horizon.

Hidden in the higher branches of one of these trees among more emerald leaves, Saline lay asleep draped over a wide branch. The woman, being half human and half wolf demon, had ivory skin and waist length raven hair. She wore a dark blue tank top and shorts with a hole in the back to make room for a black wolf tail. Her black wolf ears twitched occasionally in her dreaming, her sharp yellow eyes closed against the world. Her head was balanced comfortably in the crook of her arm with one leg pulled up against her stomach, while her other arm, leg, and tail swung lazily over the other side of the branch. This place wasn't her home, but it was a good spot to take a quick nap and gather some extra energy.

The high-pitched squeal woke Saline like a cat getting its tail stepped on. Immediately she was up on all fours with her nails digging into the bark, somehow amazingly avoiding falling off. Her ears flattened back in annoyance as she glared down at the dog-demon with a low growl. She hopped over one side of the branch, swinging around it to land gracefully beside the girl. She folded her arms over her chest and gave Kara an icy stare that would make the most powerful demon cringe. "I was wondering when you would come to disturb me," she growled.

Kara put her hands together and looked at Saline with her puppy eyes, making them look glassy. "You love me though." She then looked away from Saline and looked to (Sworda/Maridox)((Which one are you Stephen??)) and waved. "Hi!!!"

Kara placed her hands on her cheeks. "What did you do?"

*i quickly leave into the forest and comes back with a bunch of wood and cuts it up and starts building a little hut* *finishes building it and goes in it and turns invisable*

I walk out and become visable again "well it would feel weird attempting to be ok in the same house as 2 girls so il just build mine" I jump into the forest and bring back a bunch of huge logs and pull out my sword and cut them up and then take out a carving knife and start carving a bed

Upon hearing that statement, Saline's head pops out from the side of the wooden doorway. Kara was one of those high-maintenece girls you'll always want to keep your eye on. "Uh, Sworda, did you see where the puppy ran off to?" she asked nervously, stepping outside. Tucked sfaely under one arm was a long, thin item concealed by a worn beige cloth. She walked up to her alien friend, shifting the package to cradle it in both arms as she scanned the area. With a sigh she decided to find out the easy way. She offered the item to Sworda, the item delicately balanced across her outstretched arms. "I wanted to show you this, but wait until I find Kara before you unwrap it." Leaving the mystery item in his care, she ran back to the little house and jumped with ease onto the roof. Saline took her tail in one hand and held it up, singing out playfully, "Oh Kara! Wanna play with the tail?"

She sighed and called down to him, "I guess I can show you now, since I don't see Kara anywhere. Tail gets her every time, too." She hopped down beside her confused friend and took the wrapped item back. Balancing it lengthwise on one arm she slowly took away the cloth to reveal a large and beautiful sword. The handle was extremely detailed with ancient carvings and thorny vines of silver wrapped in wide loops around the base and curling closer as they stretched farther up the base. At the end of the handle was a blood red jewel entrapped in carved silver spikes that took the shape of a star. The blade was wide, the first two inches of the base solid, and after that splitting into two sharp blades with a long needle extending between them. Along the center of each blade were more ancient runes engraved lightly and lined with gold.
"I woke up and found this beside me two weeks ago. Since you're from the planet of the sword, I thought you could help me figure this out," she explained. Saline was pretty smart, so obviously she knew what a sword was for, but she decided to give him a demonstration of the mystery. "Whenever I touch it, it reacts..." She ran the edge of her finger lightly over the gold lettering. At her touch, several tendrils of violet smoke rose out of the blade and curled around her finger. The smoke clung to her finger even when she stopped touching the sword, dissipating in a light puff after a few more seconds. Saline offered it to him once more and concluded, "Weird, huh?"
