Well here is one that might cause some controversy, maybe some heated arguments. Then again we might all just agree and no one will ever post here again.
I want to know what you think the Zelda Timeline is, where all those games fit in, in your opinion.
Do you believe in one continuous Timeline?
Maybe you believe in the Split Timeline theory?
You might even have your own Theory (Please Tell)
This is something that has always fascinated me, so I would really like to know what you all make of it. I am going to keep my opinions to myself for now, but by all means put down your own.

Well, in my Nintendo Magazines, apparently Ocarina of time is first, then Majora's mask... I think Wind Waker was set in the future, as the forst is flooded, and the Hyrule Castle is underwater... I think the whole Zelda series is about history repeating itself... which makes the games seem all the more epic...

I have my own theory of the timeline.
Many, many, decades centuries ago, the NES released Zelda. From there, I think that there is a new Link every game, besides sequels to previous games. (Oracles and Ages, Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass, OoT and Majora's Mask, etc.) I think every 100 years, there is a new Link. Because, let's face it. Ganon drank something funny at the Milk Bar one day, and it made him emortal. There HAS to be a new Link every 100 years. But I'm confused. If Link is new every 100 years, what about Zelda? She's in every game, regardless of time. Maybe she drank that funny thing at the Milk Bar, too.

Well I believe that each Zelda you see is a new one, same as each Link is a different one.
I think we are on Zelda 6 or maybe 5.

Nintendo has confirmed the split timeline theory.
So that settles it, I guess.
As for me, I'm the NO-TIMELINE-EXISTS camper. XD
