The first person who comes to mind is Hermione Granger (Emma Watson?! Xar, that one's for you 8D) from the Harry Potter series. xD That one's pretty obvious...

Hmm. Other ones escape my brain currently o3o I'll think about it more and come back to this thread P:

Writing about bookwormy characters can be really fun. One of my friends and I wrote a play whose main character was a COMPLETE bookworm... it was cute. xD

EDIT: Oh, and all of those characters are from Read or Die (R.O.D), Read or Die: The TV (R.O.D: The TV), or Read or Dream (R.O.D).

Which, by the way, are my favorite animes/manga of all time. <3

Princess Cimerone is pretty much a bookworm in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles. I mean, she conjugates Latin after all!

what about tris from the cirle of magic, the circle reforged and the will of the emporess... all the same person... three diffrent series [by tamora pierce] yea, that is the only one i can think of... besdes this other girls from the tricksters series... i forgot her name thou
