The moon gleamed with a brimming amount of energy, the land underneath it shining with a white light. The glowing sun had gone down, and now, the bright moon was up. Now, generally, Gingey would be hiding out somewhere safe for the night, since he didn't have a permanent home. However, tonight, he kept on traveling. He was depressed. He really had no stable friends, except Daray, and he had no one to live with or to take care of him. So, he trudged on, alone, not wanting to do anything except trot onward, hoping to come across someone or something.

Halloween's eyes glowed in the light of the moon. Nght was the time she was most active. She enjoyed walking the night, listening to the sounds of the creatures in the trees and under brush. She especially liked watching the predators, at a safe distance of course. They were the most fascinating when they were hunting down unsuspecting prey. Tonight Halloween was watching a particular owl. The owl was settled in a dead tree at the edge of a grassy area. She had settled to the edge of the grassy area to where she could see the owl and all of the open plain. Everything seemed rather quiet and Halloween didn't even dare move should she upset that quiet.

Continuing to trudge along, Gingey looked about the grassy plain, hoping to maybe find something to do. Just then, almost as if someone had heard his thoughts, he spotted a dark-looking horse in the distance. From where he was, he couldn't tell if it was a mare or a stallion, but he did know that he eagerly wanted to go and see just who it was.
So, quietly, so as not to disturb the nightly air, the brown stallion trotted forward, right towards the horse in the distance.

Halloween's ears twitched slightly as she felt the presense of another, the presense of a stallion. Her senses picked up on the masculine scent of the male almost immediately. Part of her was hoping he was going to pass near her so she could catch his attention though another part of her hoped he would pass by further away from her. She was torn by her wishes and her feelings, part of wanted to be alone, another part of her was completely lonely. Ever since she had lost her last stallion 'friend' she missed the affection only a stallion could give. She had become accustomed to affection and now she loved it but she would never admit it. Now a stallion was near by and it was tearing her apart mentally.

The stallion, in all his 'glory', trotted over, the moon shining down upon his back, making the white lines and his mane and tail look like they were glowing.
"Hello there.", the stallion said gently, nodding his to this other horse. "My name is Gingey. Who are you, if I may ask."
He could surely see what this other horse looked like now. It was a dark-colored mare. She had limegreen eyes and a dark coat with dark stripes on it. Her belly was a softer shade, but overall, she was a dark creature. She even had a dark mane and tail, and she sported some sort of whiskers or something on her face.
How odd... Yet... Interesting..

Halloween spotted the stallion as soon as he was in her sight. The white parts on him glowed or at least they looked like they were glowing and it intrigued her extremely. His fur color and the little purple button looking things on his chest made him almost look like some kind of cookie a two-legger would eat.
"I'm Halloween. It's nice to meet you." She replied while looking the stallion over. "What brings you out at this time of night?"

"Meh... Stupid things, I suppose. I'm not tired.. And I have no where to really stay the night. I travel alone most of the time, so I don't have anyone to see or be with. So, I may as well travel some more, right? Who knows, I may meet someone along the way..."
Smiling, the stallion, which was known as Gingey, sat down next to this mare, still sitting about as tall as her. His white 'lines' glowed underneath the light of the moon, his white eyes doing the same. Light purple rays of light came from his gumdrops that were mounted onto his chest, the moon's rays filtering through them, in a rather delicate manner.

Halloween tilted her head to the side while watching Gingey. "Well it seems you did. We're talking so we've met. I prefer to be alone sometimes gives you time to think but it does get boring." She replied with an absent nod.
Halloween didn't seem to stand out as Gingey did as her dark body blended in almost perfectly with the darkness around them. Her eyes were the only part of her that glowed in the moon light. Sitting next to each other the two held to different contrasts in the darkness.

"Yes... Being alone can be nice, at times. However, it can also be rather dull.. And lonesome. Right now, that's how I feel.. Which is why I can't sleep and I just have to keep moving on. Would you care to trot with me for a short bit?"
Noticing how her eyes glowed, Gingey looked at them in awe. They were different than many he had seen... But then again, this mare seemed different all together. She was a loner, just like him. She may of not been all pretty and fancy, but she had a nice attitude, and she seemed easy to relate to. For once, Gingey felt at peace with another horse... A mare to be exact.

Halloween's ears perked high at Gingey's question. Company would certainly be a change and male company at that. Slowly she nodded. "Sure. I'd enjoy someone to talk to for a while." She replied.
Getting to her feet she lightly shook her body to get her fur back into place. Turning her gaze to Gingey she noted his short mane and tail that was pure white. It was so much different from her mane but it's color reminded her of her last 'friend' Lightning. His whole body had been that white. For some reason white always caught her attention and it now held her attention again.

"Awesome.", he replied, looking around, merely picking a direction, and began to walk that way. "So, Halloween, what do you do for fun, since you're a lone as well?"
Gingey watched the mare, seeing her fur ruffle itself back into place, and her limegreen eyes taking a note to his own whiteness that surrounded him. He had both a cropped mane and tail that were white, as well as the line-like markings on his body, for they were white as well. Looking over the mare, he noticed that she had no white on herself at all. That was indeed different. How could one so dark have such a light heart?

Halloween walked next to Gingey her gaze slightly on him and slightly on where she was going. "For fun? Hmm... Well sometimes I'll sit and watch predators at a safe distance, other times I'll look for new Soquili or old friends, heck if I'm really bored I'll go bother the alpha female of my herd..." She replied and then quickly spoke. "The herds a little small so we rarely stay together but they'll have my back anytime I need them."
Halloween couldn't seem to get over how much Gingey looked like a two-legger sweet. His fur seemed to even look textured like one though she dared not touch to confirm if it was or not. Finally really looking at his eyes she was surprised by how white his eyes were. She would almost think him blind because of how white they were though she could tell he was looking at her so that was out of the question.

"Watching predators... And looking, and or bugging, new and old friends. That sounds like something I'd do. Although, it's also nice to just walk around, looking at the scenery around you. Sure, it looks the same a lot of the time, but when you wander all day long, and sometimes into the night, you can see changes in the land, as well as the creatures that inhabit it."
Laughing some, Gingey shook his head, looking back at the mare.
"Yes.. I know.. You don't have to say it. I'm kind of weird..."
Noticing how this mare was looking him over, up and down, and just all around, he could see how she was looking at his appearance. Yes.. He was weird.. Just like he had stated.. But did she have to look at him like that? At one point, he even caught her looking at his white eyes, a confused look coming across her face. She must of had something on her mind, but what, he wasn't too sure of.

Halloween nodded at Gingey's words. "Yeah. I enjoy the mountains the most. The rocky slop and the views are absolutely stunning. Watching the slight changes in the scenery as you head up the mountain. It's heaven." She replied.
At his comment of being weird she snorted. "You're no weirder than I. We've got more than a few things in common so you can't be very weird." She stated turning her gaze away from Gingey. She found herself staring much more than she should have and she was sure he had seen her staring, Who could have missed it? "Im sorry." She said after a few moments of silence.
