Well tips huh? There is a lot involved in comic book making. The first and most basic thing is to have your story already outlined. The plot, and characters like whos gonna be the "protaganist" and various "villians" Etc. Once thats done, you need dialouge (think I spelled that wrong LOL)
That last part is the hardest for me(dialouge). But once that is done, you have to start drawing places or scenes (like backgrounds or back drops) If your doing a book by hand you can just draw pictures(people and the background together already). If your photoshopping it, then do them seperate (the more detail the better).
Then you add your characters in and work really hard until its done!
Programs I recommend Photoshop (any version will do, that program is a must, and is AWESOME!)
Also Comic book Creator is a cool program I also have Manga studio (but I dont use it often because its a little difficult for me). They help you set up frames add text and pop your pics into place to make a cool book outline. Sorry for the long Message! smile
BEST WISHES ON YOUR BOOK IF YOU NEED ANYTHING PM ME OK? IDONT MIND.

Next week is spring break... so I'm going to put my new camera to good use and take pictures of the scenes I've already sketched out. Maybe I'll put them here, it depends on how they turn out.
I have all of the plot, characters, dialog, and scenery in my head... but the it out drawing part is kinda hard for me. I just realized to animate a movie you have to be able to draw, so I started and I have gotten better confused ... I think at least.

Yeah I am still trying to publish a book myself but not a comic because I would definitley need a staff. But a novel with pictures inside is what I'm trying to do.
