Is it wrong to have feelings for somebody over the internet?

That's an interesting question. The internet, through written conversations, can show you some of another persons personality; but beware, for people can make up a personality and make themselves seem like kind of person they want to through writing. The internet relationship should only be held to friendship.
Also, you might want to ask yourself why it is you have feelings for a person you met on the internet. If the person be found on Gaia, Lord be with you if you base it some or all on their avatar.

Very true. Many people make up stuff about themselves and even alter their personalities on the internet. I would suggest remembering what you like about the person on the internet and applying it to what you'd want in a person in real life.
