Talia gazed about the wooded area, wondering if her call would carry as far as she desired for it to. She needed to contact two wolves, maybe more. Ikkume, and Ronan, for certain. She could give news to Ikkume in person later if all else failed.
Now, Suzaku was waiting back at her densite with the pup she cared for, and Whisper was, well, Talia wasn't sure at this moment, probably with her pups too. Well, if they were nearby they would come too. Talia lifted her head back by craning her neck, belting out a loud howl to carry.
"Ronan! Ikkume! I need to talk to you, meet me here!"

Ronan, The deep forest green male, was currently stalking after a rabbit and was about ready to pounce onto it when he heard the call. His head shot up from his hiding spot. The rabbit, which was now forgotten, scampered away into the brush.
The male wolf sent back a howl, he didnt get a good idea where she was let alone how far away. He was hoping she would send out another one "Where are you?"

Whisper had been resting outside of her den that she shared with Rochir and Fute. It was a nice, warm day and she had taken it to give herself a nice rest and even a thorough wash of her fur. It had been a while since she actually washed it and it was beginning to look very.. ick. But, after about an hour of rasping her tongue over her fur and going to the river for help, the adult's fur was shining again.
After her mid-day wash, Whisp decided to take a nap, and so she did. Normally she would have gone back inside the den because it was safer.. but the day was just too beautiful to hide from it. So she slept outside. Yet her peaceful slumber was disturbed by a howl.. yet it was familiar.. Talia! That's right, she needed to meet her friend. And from the content of her howl, she was gonna meet up with Ikku again and meet a new wolf.
Ikkume she didn't mind.. but who was this Ronan character? Well, no better way than to find out. But she didn't want to just barge in and perhaps interrupt something, that wasn't like her. So instead, the green wolf rose to her paws, shook off the excess dirt, and let out a howl of her own to her black and white friend. The sound carried for miles and said, 'Talia, do you want me to come along? I know we were supposed to meet again, but is now a good time?'

Talia stopped long enough to perk her ears after her call began to fade. Her eyes darted forward as Ronan answered, then she turned about face with a grin, rearing her head back again to howl once more in answer, rising and falling.
"Now is fine, Whisper."
That howl was shorter, the one that followed was longer, and seemed louder. She was closer to Whisper seeing as she hadn't wandered far from that area with Whisper and Suzaku's dens.
"South! Near the river near the mountains!"

Another howl besides her own and Talia's rang through her ears. From the voice, she knew it wasn't Ikkume. It wasn't deep enough.. an adolescent, perhaps? Almost an adult, that she was almost sure. The voice wasn't as high in tone as those of much younger wolves. Wow, it seemed their pack was starting off great, and Talia had already recruited two more members.
"Okay, I'm coming," she announced with another short howl, maybe even shorter than her friend's. Yet they weren't that far off from each other as it seemed the black and white wolf had stuck close to Whisp and Suza's dens. That was good, this would probably be the main meeting point for their new pack as the pups couldn't travel as much as older wolves could. All of these thoughts passed through her mind as she trodded in the direction of her good friend.
In a matter of mere minutes the bushes parted to reveal the green female.

Talia turned her head to smile in Whisper's direction, giving a happy wuff of greeting while her tail wagged at a low angle, making her seem hyper. The grin on her maw was extra evidence of this.
"Hey Whisp, you doing alright today?"

Whisper, once she was out of the bushes and in front of Talia, wagged her tail in a friendly and silent greeting to her friend. Before answering, though, she gave her coat a good shake to get all the leaves out.
"Yup, doing just fine. I took the day to relax. How about you, my friend?"

Talia smiled slyly, craning her neck a bit idly to look at Whisper from a slightly different angle. She hadn't told her friend yet, but she'd been developing some rather interesting feelings for Ikkume. Weather those feelings were returned or not she was never really sure. There always seemed to be something holding the dusty-toned wolf back when things started to turn that way. Still, the contentment was all but radiating from her person. She couldn't wait to tell Ikkume about the pack, she was hoping he'd agree. Maybe she'd luck out and he'd know someone else in the group, and that would be enough to convince him.
"I've been well. You've been pretty happy whenever I've come by lately, is there something you want to tell me?" She teased, wraggling her brow a bit teasing with that same sly grin. "Or, is it this pack business that has you so giddy?"

Whisper wagged her tail when her friend revealed that she had been well. That was good. It seemed like Talia was phisically well but one could never tell. Something emotional could have happened to her without the green female ever knowing.. unless she was told, of course. And then.. what? Something to tell her? It took the young adult a second, but she finally realized that her friend was only teasing.
Her maw parted in a wolf-equivalent to a laugh. "Talia, if something was up, you would know. I'm not the best in hiding things.." she admitted, wishing a moment later that she hadn't said that. Though at times it was easy to tell when something was up.. even from a stranger's point of view. So maybe it wasn't all bad that she revealed that little secret of hers. The omega pawed lightly at her friend as she continued, "Yeah.. just the pack. I can't wait till it forms!"

Talia chuckled in reply, tail perking a bit in it's wag. She was happy to be a part of this forming pack, a pack of companions, much more promising than the pac- prison, that she'd left behind.
As Whisper pawed at her, Talia grinned and replied, playfully bouncing in place once or twice on her front paws. "Hopefully it'll be soon. I need to tell Ikkume, and ask if he wants to join still. I hope he and Ronan will accept, that'd make Keefe pretty pleased too, I'd imagine. His brother being in the same pack that has an alliance with his?"
~And if Trija makes it down here, she can be a part too, and we can be a family again, at least a partial one...~

Whisper smiled warmly at her friend. This was indeed the best thing that had ever happened to them. A pack full of friends and trust. What could go wrong? Of course, there were always humans lurking about. She would have to make sure they settled in a place far from those retched beasts. Yes, far away from them.
"You are going to invite Ikku? That's great!" Her tail picked up in its wag as she thought of her friend. The two had always been close, sort of like father and daughter, and it made her happy that they would probably be in the same pack. Yet little did she know the thing going on between Talia and the sandy male.
"Ronan?" Yes, that other wolf she had heard her friend call in her howl. It had struck her interest the moment she heard his name and.. he was related to Keefe. Greeeeat.. hopefully this sibling was nicer..

Unfortunately, Talia couldn't really say if Ronan and Keefe were very different even if she DID know that Whisper wondered about it. It hadn't been verbal, so Talia was unaware of the pondering.
"Hey, you know Ikkume? This is a small forest," She grinned, pawning the phrase of "Small world". "Ronan is the first wolf I met coming here, he's quiet, you can easily see the family resemblance." She chuckled, then smiled a bit. "But he reminds me a lot of my own siblings, back home."

Whisper nodded to the question of her knowing Ikkume. Yes.. the two met when she was but a little pup and when she was still traveling around with Kamali looking for their sister Rasine. "Yeah, we met when I was a puppy and we've been really close.. like.. father and daughter." Perhaps it was better if she added the last part. She didn't know of Talia and Ikkume, but if she did, she wouldn't want to upset her friend in any way.

Father-daughter? Oh.... Talia had a seat, feeling relieved with Whisper's addition. She'd suspected there was another female in Ikku's life and for a moment worried it might be Whisper-- and maybe she'd be in some deep trouble for flirting with a taken wolf.
However, she relaxed again and looked off out of the corners of her slate blue eyes to one side. It was clear by the relaxed posture and small smile that refused to leave her maw that something they were talking about had her feeling giddy.
"He's a really nice guy, probably the nicest that I've ever met anyway. Not that it says a whole lot, I mean, the only wolves I really knew before were the ones in my pack and they were mostly a bunch of creeps................. Of course, you can't really compare him to creeps, anyway." She cleared her throat softly.
