I freakin love Midnattsol but i never find anyone who likes them. They are fronted by Liv Kristine's little sister Carmen (who in my opinion has the better voice) for being so young she certainly has alot of vocal power. I really enjoyed their first album and i am currently waiting for them to release more stuff. If you haven't heard them yet i really do wish that you would give them a listen.
Oh yeah, fun fact a few members from Midnattsol are the guys in Ahab.

I like Midnattsol, for sure, except I don't know if I can say I agree with Carmen having a better voice than Liv Kristine. Carmen's is lower, for sure, and very pretty and soothing, but I spent a lot of time listening to Theatre of Tragedy at one point and will probably always have some sort of allegiance to her, especially since the girl they replaced her with is awful.

I first bought Lovelorn-Leaves Eyes and her voice is just so ........High that it's almost not there.
I like Carmen's because it has foundation.

I can totally see what you're saying. Carmen really does have a beautiful voice with lots of depth, but I like the really high, lilting, almost creepy voice of Liv Kristine. I'm a fan of both, in the end. heart
