Hullo!
First off. I think this guild is pretty self explanatory. Do you like/love/enjoy/obsess over/read/watch The Dresden Files? Do you love Bob, and his far reaching innuendo? Do you love Murphy's bad a** ways? Do you stay up at night rereading books or watching reruns of the show? Do you love the wizard who lists himself in the phone book?
Well, you're here. Of course you do!
Any official posts will be posted in normal font, and in indigo.
Feel free to post any suggestions and whatnot on this thread.
And if you do decide to donate some gold, please donate it to the guild for now.

Rules
There aren't meant to be many of these. Just basic outlines.
1. Follow The Seven Laws of Magic the ToS.
2. No flaming. It's okay to disagree, and discuss, but NO FLAMING.
3. Use proper grammar people, come on! It's one thing to not use punctuation or capitalization correctly. It bugs me, but I'm allowing it. BUT NO CHATSPEAK OR 1337 SPEAK OR WHATEVER THE HELL YOU CALL IT! Failure to do so may result in a sudden trip to the Nevernever...
4. Have fun. Be merry. Eat. Drink. Discuss. Rave. Squeal. Etc. You are a fan. I am a fan. We are all fans. We understand each other.
5. PG-13 people, PG-13. If good ol' Jim Butcher wouldn't put it in a book, then you shouldn't post it in the guild. Sorry. Scratch that. I just read more than the first two books... In fact, I just finished the fifth! JEESH~ So, um, er, PG-13 everybody! You're not allowed to go quite as far as Butcher... or anywhere near there for that matter. Actually, you know what, screw it. Just don't put anything like that on the main page. If we're all reading the books, then we're apparently mature enough to see that sort of content.
Not following these rules will get you a warning, and then get you banned.

Yeah, but for banners I would rather there be things that actually say "The Dresden Files Guild".

I'm at my grandparentals as of now, but tomorrow if someone reminds me I might be able to whip something up. As far as a code for it...haha, I'm at loss.

I have tried something like that before... As far as I have been able to work out, my computer only has basic paint. And most of the fonts on that look boring. ><;
@chocolatmeillure Upload the finished picture onto photobucket.com or another website like it. That's what I use for posting photos and stuff.

Jim Butcher is not pg-13. If he was Harry wouldn't notice women so much and he and susan wouldn't have hooked up.
May I suggust that the guild home include Harry's add in the phonebook and that he put a list of all the books somewhere?
