Small paws dangled into the water lazily as Jin-Ho gazed out over the water. He was tired, something that rarely happened. He normally would have been running around in the feilds, dancing in the leaves and swimming in the purple curtain of the Grape Soda River.
But he was tired, he'd worn himself out by running all over creation, by looking for something special. Swimming didn't normally take it out of him, but all this running did. Maybe he should spend some more time around the river or something.
Either way Jin had wound up near real water for the first time in a year or so. This was where he'd met Aukai, so he figured it would be a nice relaxing place.

Bliss was actually walking, not flying, very tired and very dirty, her usually pristine and almost glowing white coat and bluish tail and headfur were covered in brown dirt and a few leaves, even though she held something important clutched in her mouth. Her wings drooped along her back, but she had flew and dug and flew some more looking for something special for her mate.
But it had taken her longer then normal and she didn't even sleep, refusing to stop until she found what she was looking for. Now the challenge was to find her mate and that seemed to be harder then finding her prize for him.

As his gray eyes blinked away a film as he stretched out his claws and spine. Sure Jin was tired, but he also knew that as tired as he was... that's how lonely he was as well.
Maybe it was time to go and find Bliss? She was always so happy, it made him smile to see her when she was smiling.
Paws tapping together faintly, Jin-Ho stood up and turned from the water, tail swishing to and fro as he went to look for his mate. She would always bring a smile to his muzzle, no matter how worn out he was.

Bliss finally stopped her trek and put down her items, slumping down to the ground. Her paws hurt and she felt incredibly dirty, but she didn't want to stop looking for Jin. She flapped her wings a bit and felt she had enough energy to at least fly, though not too far off the ground, so she clutched her items back in her mouth and flapped her wings, hovering just a few feet from the ground and kept pressing forward.

Slinking across the ground slowly and sinking his claws in with each step, Jin kept moving, his eyes darting around looking for Bliss. Sometimes he wished that he could fly like her, wished that he could move that fast over the ground and be able to see everything beneath you.
"Jin wants to fly." Jin-Ho said slowly as he trotted. But of course he could fly under the water.

Her back started cramping up due to the effort in keeping her weight in the air and she slams down into the ground, effectively crushing what she was holding, all but one. She whimpered as she pushed herself up and looked at the crushed remains and then she started crying, putting her face in her paws, sitting down heavily, her shoulders shaking, feeling like she failed Jin in not delivering her present to him.

Sobs met his ears, the sound of tears sliding down someone's face, the sound of pain. Jin-Ho lifted his head and looked in the direction it came from, catching a louder sob and blinking enough that he would be able to trot forward slowly. Who was it and were they okay?
White caught in his site, white covered with dust and dirt. And blue....
"Bliss?" She was crying. Was she hurt? "Bliss!"
Instantly he leapt across the distance and to her side, looking her up and down for blood or bruises or anything that might have caused it. For anything that could make her cry this way. The only thing he saw other than dirt and grime were a handful of crushed flowers like the kind he'd given her for valentines.

Bliss looked up when she heard someone call her name and she hid her face when she saw it was Jin. Peeking between her fingers, she spotted one flower that she didn't crush and she whimpered a little, reaching down and picking up, holding it out to Jin, but refusing to look at him, tears still running down her face, "H-h-happy V-v-valentines d-d-d-day..." she whimpered out, a small sob coming from her throat.

"Oh Bliss...." Jin pulled his eyebrows together, for once not as hyper as he usually was. His eyes were sober as he took the flower from her and sat it down by one of his paws, pulling her to him tightly and kissing her tears away.
His tail swished behind him slowly as he held her. "It's okay. Thank you Bliss."
Nuzzling his nose against her neck, Jin held her, hoping that she wouldn't keep crying. He still wasn't sure what she was crying for, for the flowers? He wasn't sure. But her tears made him want to cry as well.

She half expected him to laugh at the lone flower, but she was surprised when he pulled her to him and hugged her and she wrapped her own arms around him, burying her face into his furry chest and crying more, sniffing out apoligies for being so late and only having one flower him, and asking for forgiveness.

Rubbing her back as he held her, Jin pulled back and kissed her deeply.
"Bliss, please don't cry. One flower from you is better than a thousand flowers from anyone. I love you, please please don't cry." he dropped the normal way he spoke as he held her tight, nuzzling at her cheek softly and holding he closer. "Please don't cry love. You gave me the best present of all presents."

Bliss blushed when he pulled back and kissed her and she kissed him back. She then sniffled and blushed even harder at his words and she nuzzled him back, "I really wanted you to have alot, I found 5." she said, looking down at the crushed mess on the ground.

"Aw Bliss, you didn't have to do that." Jin said softly, he released her gently and reached down, picking them all up off of the minty grass and gazing at the different broken peices.
His normally dull brain thought quickly and he peiced them all together. Thanking that some of the things were a little sticky, Jin put them all together and and held up an entirely new flower.
"See? Bliss brought Jin a special flower!" He wagged his tail softly, a smile spreading over his white muzzle gently.

Bliss watched Jin and wiped at her face as he put together one of the broken chocolate flowers and she couldn't help but giggle, nodding, "Yes, it is special!" she said, picking up the one that wasn't damaged, starting to feel alot better.

Reaching out and taking her paw, Jin kissed it softly and handed her the flower. "Jin loves Bliss no matter what, flowers or not. But he feels really special for her going so far just to get him flowers."
With that he picked her up off of her feet and turned, carrying her towards the little lake full of water so she could get clean.
